Don’t Stay Here

Do not stay at this campground!! I had a reservation for 5 months and when I came with my camper to stay they didn’t have a site because the person on the site decided to stay! There weren’t anymore sites!! No email notification of my cancellation. They tried to call but they wrote down the wrong number. I know this because they don’t have a website and so we had to call for the reservation .

Good Overnighter

Stayed here as a stop between KC and Denver. Called that AM for a reservation, but we were the only folks there. Around 8 spots - 6 or so, pull through. I didn’t even unhook the Jeep (in tow). Full hookups, internet available. Cash only and check in is at the motel front desk. No longer a restaurant next door (they are looking for new ownership). Not extravagant, but worked out very well for us - it was very convenient and broke up the drive nicely.

Not Too Friendly

Most places have a monthly rate and because the work I do I usually stay for over a month. Last place I stayed charged $350 month, @ Cottonwood the manager (owners daughter) charged me $600 a month but wont accept payment via credit or debit card (cash only, hmmm... sounds suspicious.) Bottom line Cottonwood is overpriced and won't give hard working road construction workers a break.

Very Convenient

Full hookups with great internet service for $25! This was a great one night stop for us. This park has no amenities, of course, but for one night, we wouldn’t have used them anyway. Right off of highway 36 with some road noise, but also loud noises from a nearby train, we think. Great typical small town restaurant next door. So, great for us because we didn’t have to unhook our tow vehicle. Check in at the hotel next door. We had a shade tree too!

My wife and I stayed here last year 2017 on our way to Colorado (it's a half way mark for us). Again this year we made it our 1/2 way over night stay. The RV park is at the end of the motel property, has eight pull through spots and two back in spots. Water, electric and sewer at all spots. It has been a great place for us other than the staff could use some classes on politeness!

Local

All though a great stop along the way, with all hook ups, this is not a rv park by any standard! It is a hotel with rv hookups! The location is on a high traffic four lane road! Great people, and a small rural town atmosphere.
