Great Place!
Our favorite stop! Yes, there are trains nearby, but they don’t disturb us at all, and we enjoy watching them pass. We can’t even hear them inside our camper. It is a beautiful RV park with plenty of grass & shade, and our dog (who we recently lost) always loved it—lots of room to roam with,a river running through the back of the campground. A lovely setting! Pizza delivered to your camper and breakfast also. And it’s delicious!!! Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Near the interstate with pull through sites and easy hookups. We’ve traveled all over the western U.S., and this is our favorite spot. We stop headed west and again heading east and always enjoy our stay. The town of Paxico is charming and reminds us of Mayberry. Sites are spacious and very easy in and out. Highly recommend!

Stayed one night on the way back from Colorado. Clean and easy. There was a train but I think it stopped running at ten or so or we were really tired. it would definitely be a place to relax.

A Soft Place To Land
I stayed here on a one nighter while traveling. It was dark, it was raining, wipers were crap (don’t need them in the desert so you just don’t recognize till you need them) and I just didn’t feel like driving on. I pulled in at about 730pmish and was happily greeted at the door by a lovely gentleman who checked me in, told me about their breakfast gave me great directions and told me to call if I needed anything. As I was setting up another nice gentleman came to make sure I was getting set up okay in the dark. Very nice people. Came in after dark and left before sunrise but if the people are an indication of the park this is a great place. Only didn’t give 5 stars because other than being a soft place to land, I didn’t really use anything.

Stayed 1 night while traveling. Clean restrooms. The train was a little loud but not too bad. We would stay again if we were in the area in the future

Nice Park
This is a nice park with all pull through sites and full hook up. Owners are very nice people. The only down fall is the very active train tracks that run right across the street. The trains seemed to stop around 9 PM but started back at 4 AM. The park is very clean and well kept. Was good for an over night stay

Very nice. We will return. Would have rated it a 5 but for the train noise.

Very nice management. Easy pull thru for Big Rig. I actually liked hearing the trains. For $7.00 they bring dinner to your RV.

Perfect for overnight for us. Clean place and right off the highway. Nice people and we will stay again. Can’t understand picky rv reviews.

Trains and Interstate Highway Noise
This park is located between I-70 and very active railroad tracks. For $40 a night and no cable tv, this place is not worth the cost. There is a laundry room but it's $4 per load to wash and dry. The wifi is ok when it works. However, they do have premium wifi service, but that costs $5 a day extra. One of the campers nearby left a fire burning in a fire ring, but they were nowhere around. When the office was contacted, they did nothing about it. I will not stay here again!

Quaint, Quiet and Clean!
Stayed overnight during travel. Quiet except for train but that was no problem. Added to the experience. Sites could be close if full. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Will return.

It's a beautiful Park, surrounded by fields and wilderness. There are lots of grass and shade trees. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. There's a nice playground for the kids, and the whole park has a antique western themed going on. The little town that's within walking distance looks like something straight out of History. I would have said it was a little bit pricing for the area, but hey it practically filled up by night time so they could get the price they wanted for it. Frequent trains run right by the park, but they didn't wake me up at night.

Not bad at all
A nice little campground that was peaceful and well kept. We stayed overnight in a tent and encountered no problems. A couple of things to keep in mind is that a railroad track runs next to the campground, but it wasn't that busy; a few trains rolled by while we were there, but the noise they made was not too intrusive. Also, bring what you need because I think the only store around closes relatively early in the evening. By the way, the price was a really reasonable $20 for the night for two people in a tent.

Nice park along Kansas River. Permanent residents were friendly and the bucolic, small town appears lost in a time long past.

This was a great park! So may interesting things to see at the park itself and the walk to the the small town is great! Very quaint small town with several antique stores that used to be homes. Clean showers, firewood available, pull through sites and friendly folks there who stay year round.
