Wonderful 2 Wk Stay

This coe park is great. For the full hookups have to stay in sunflower loop. The spaces are huge cement pads. Tons of space between spots. Some have gravel here so pay attention when booking. And I learned a trick. You can book consecutively you just have to move spots every two weeks. Showers nice but did not use. Plenty of places to ride bikes. Have a full service marina with store. Verizon worked well. Very clean and peaceful.

Clean, Paved

$24 per night for full hookup. Not bad. BUT they charge an extra $5 per vehicle park pass. So actually $29 per night which still isn't too bad. Just a surprise. This should be added to camping fee.

Sunflower

We are looking forward to camping labor day weekend here with full hook ups here.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We don't stay in state parks much but this state park was great as there was full hookups and we especially enjoyed the large sights and grassy areas with concrete pads! When searching for Sunflower Campground in this state park use your phone GPS satellite as it is very new and doesn't show up on regular GPS.

Awesome sites. Clean, quiet, and level with full hook ups. Warning - the maps and directions for KS State parks leave a lot to be desired. This park was better than others, but still hard to follow their maps. The signs are minimal as well. $5 parking fee should be added to online registration.
