Lots Of Room and Quiet

Stopped here for just one night. It's in the edge of the town but not far from the Fort Scott National Historic Site. It looks like they have just upgraded the sites. There are 10 RV sites. All gravel all have only 50Amp so bring your dog bone. All have water. Nice new tables and fire pits. The new grass is just starting to grow. I can tell in the summer site 8 will have total shade. Lots of nice walnut trees. There is tent camping between the RV sites and the lake. Tent camping is $10 a night and RV is now $20. All self pay at the sign. Bathrooms were closed right now but it looks like they will be done soon. The only issue we had is the sites are not real level not terrible. We needed about 6 inches front to back. Side to side was great. It's about average for a state type park.

Gunn Park

Nice little city park. Water 30 amp elect on small lake. $10 a night. Kind of har to find. Drove a bunch of city streets to get there.
