Soothing
I’m working at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City so I’ll be here 3 months total. The month I’ve been here has been pleasant. Hidden River has water and electricity but no sewer hookup but Dean, the owner, empties your tanks for you. He has a golf cart with a big tank and pump on it that he empties the tanks into. The Cedar river runs in front of the park so fishing is a option. It’s pet friendly also with plenty of room to exercise you pet or just take a peaceful walk by the river. I have seen multiple deer every day and Bald Eagles a couple times near the river. It’s farm country and small town America so forget a busy night life but so far everybody I have met has been extremely nice and helpful. The park is secluded, hence the name, but Iowa City is within a 30 min drive. There are closer sites to my job but I enjoy the peace and quiet and the secure environment here off the beaten path. I would definitely recommend this park if you’re looking to relax.

Hidden River Tipton Ia.
A very clean and well cared for campground right on the cedar river! Sites are level with plenty of room. We were only there 1 nite but loved it. Hopefully going back before it gets too cold!!! 4 stars only because we did not use shower house due to a short stay!!! Nice place and people!!!

On River, But Sketchy.
Really sketchy getting there, you feel like your on somebody's gravel driveway. Mostly filled with run down permanent 5th wheels. It's right on the river which is cool. We had good luck fishing. Dump station is not well placed and ackward to use. Would not say its worth $35 though.
