Clean, Quiet And Laid Back

Tent camped for one night when passing through. The bathrooms were not great but did the job (curtains on bathroom stalls). Well kept grounds, playgrounds and bike trails. Honor system check-in, 2 week limit on stay. Other campers were friendly. Campground entrance is at 104 just before the big white pavilion.

Nice Clean City Park

Iowa is kind to RVers for sure. Almost all little towns have a city park with Rv hookups, Sac City is no exception. No reservations, pay using honor system, check or cash. Sites are level, hard packed ground, there are both pull through and back in spots. Bathhouse is a bit tired, but it’s there and functional. Park like setting, disc golf, river runs beside the park, lots of open space to walk dogs, etc. only $17 a night, pay for 6 nights and the 7th is free! Thank you Sac City. FYI, I only give 5 stars for outstanding parks.
