Fun For The Family!!
I loved this place! It is pretty clean, nice ranger station, fun pond to swim in or play on the "boo boo bay" water course. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards, etc!

Going Downhill
If you want a quiet peaceful campground look elsewhere. I couldn’t sit under my awning longer then 30 seconds without a golf cart going by. It you like camping in a city then maybe this will be your ideal site. This used to be a good spot but if a seasonal camper gets in a dispute with a non-seasonal camper the cops will show up and you’ll have to leave. A member of my group tried to stop a seasonal kid from bullying his son and his family got kicked out...not the instigating kid.

Bring Your Mud Boots
This is a great place for families. Everything is super spread out except for the campsites. They are extremely skinny. Only seasonal sites have decent space. If it rains it takes forever for the water to dry up so there is mud everywhere. It’s all dirt/gravel roads and sites or grass sites. There is always activities for kids. Pool, playgrounds, lake with water toys to rent, giant trampoline, beach on river, pedal buggies, and more. The characters make appearances quite often too. Only gripe I have about activities is they aren’t descriptive to where or what it is. They don’t list all locations on the map either. Otherwise we had a great time fishing and swimming and letting the dogs swim in the lake too.

Overnight Camper
Friendly, have ice cream, bathroom clean. Don't stop if there has been lots of rain. Grass lots where muddy. Also the River rose and I had to move.
