The Name Says It All

This family has done well to start their family campground in 2023. A number of full-hookup (and others) gravel sites on uneven and unlevel ground sit adjacent to a lovely pond. Sunrises and sunsets are incredible. Even more so is the friendliness of the hosts/owners! They went out of their way to help us level out and get unhitched and gave us an o-ring for our leaky water hose. There are newly-planted trees which one day will provide some shade, but for now, there is no shade on the campground. We had a little trouble with our 20amp electrical outlet but were able to use the next site’s box because it was not rented out for the night. Our 30amp outlet worked fine. The owners were notified and are addressing the issue. The scenic drive to and from has about 3 miles gravel from either east or west. In the heart of covered bridge county in Madison County, Iowa, this campground is fully sufficient and the owners are working hard to make it your favorite destination!
