You’ll need to bring a lot of leveling jacks. Very muddy and spots need gravel added. Sewer very high so draining is an issue as well. There is a lot to do as far as swimming and lake activities. Very quiet and peaceful.

A lot To Do

We stayed here for a weekend and loved it. We have children so the playground, trails, and other activities were perfect. Restroom was clean. Two things to consider...there seem to be a handful of full timers at the back and their sites are definitely lived in. No issues but sometimes nice to know and we had a hard time getting leveled. Bring your leveling equipment because you'll most likely need it. Other than that, it was quiet and very family friendly, and the lake is beautiful. We also loved the rural location. But we enjoy that. We would stay again.

Rustic

The roads are dusty/muddy, we needed to use our legos to level our van and the Septic pipes are too tall to drain properly. But a very pleasant manager and the price is right. Close to fort Wayne but very rural. Would stay again

Nice!

Wish I had more time to spend here, this place is a real gem. Beautiful lake, trees and no mosquitoes. Kids would have a blast here with the zip lines and other cool stuff. Check out their website.

Just Okay

I am traveling by motorcycle so I'm looking for easy and convenience. Showers are free, nice to have a chair and place to hang clothes etc. I wanted to do laundry, but it was dark and there was no light in the laundry room. If you do laundry, there are NO benches anywhere to just hang out and wait. Also NO exterior lighting around shower, restroom, laundry building. Very dark! The roads towards the back of campground are poorly maintained, even for a car! The "restroom" at the back are port-a-potties! I would not recommend this campground to a friend.

Camp Timber Lake

Great campground small enough to not be hectic but with lots to offer; fishing swimming zip lines hiking trail camp store boat rental well you get the picture????
