Big Changes
Under new ownership and all the trash and deserted units have been removed. Spots are big and mostly flat parking on gravel. New electric post to hook up to with 30/50 amp service. Water hookups are shared between spots and in some cases you’ll need 30+ feet of hose to connect. Landscaping is a work in progress but will eventually come around. Lots of big trees, many close to the road or near spots. Be careful of the trees in a big rig. Roads are gravel and in some areas need the pot holes filled in or at a minimum grade the roads level. Entry is gated with license plate reader as means to access gate. So if you have a bike rack or something blocking your plate, the reader will not read it. Keep that in mind after you check in. Staff was very nice and helpful and we would definitely stay again. It’s a large park with great potential to give them a little time.

Not a Bad Place If U Give It A Chance
The campground is not as fancy or nice as other places but it is indeed a place worth staying when needed.
I'm looking for a spot to park, electric, water, and a place to dump all while having space around my RV and no one bothering me... this place does all that. If staying for a night or a few months the price is reasonable and worth what u pay for. U want extras like a laundry or even outdoor bathrooms I could not even tell u if they were here as I never looked since don't need them. Been here on and off over the last 5 years and the new owner has cleaned up and towed out over 100 abandoned RVs in the place. But even at its said worse was not that bad. It's all cosmetic and bad curb appeal, neither matters to me. Safe travels and good luck out there.

Dont Go Here
The worst campground. Grounds are not kept up, alot of abandoned vehicles and campers. The power went out, the number on the website, voice mail was full. Neighbor finally got ahold of someone, got the power back on. We are pulling out early in the am, not staying another night. Dont waste your money. Jelly stone park is 20 miles away, going there. Had to rate stars to post, doesnt deserve the one I gave it.

We bought our camper end of season last year and we're looking for a cheap last min place to park it for the rest of the season. You def get what you pay for. There is abandoned campers everywhere that have been there god knows how long. The "pool" is well a concrete hole with lake water ew. The grounds are huge and have a ton of potential if a new owner put the time and effort into it. The only perk was our spot was right off the fox river for fishing and swimming.

Week In the Spring
This is a very simple park. If you are looking for something laid back and away from the normal hub-bub of city and glitz, this is it. Many seasonal /permanently parked units.

Maybe the most disgusting camp ground I've ever experienced. Very shady people in the long term stay area. Stayed here for work in Chicago area. Do yourself a favor and drive through just to experience how truly awful it is. Don't miss the pool, the pool is a sight to behold.
