disappointed

Pros *extremely friendly staff, fellow campers, seasonals and maintenance personnel. every one was great. *beautiful beach cons *beach hours are only 10-5 and it is an additional $10 per day per family to go to beach. *play ground was tiny. observations extremely quiet for a sat- mon. when we were at the beach there was only one other family.

Too Many Rules

Campground is clean and beach is very nice. I give 3 stars because there are sooo many rules...and they make sure to remind you anytime you go there. It's me, my wife, 2 kids and we usually go there with couple other families who have kids too but they always make sure to tell you NO PARTIES, NO VISITORS! And if you go swimming YOU BETTER FOLLOW THE RULES or they get on the loud speaker to tell you. See other review and pics about all the signs everywhere, it's a little overwhelming.

Super clean and well run campground! We arrived late on Friday evening, the check in was quick and easy, and the owner escorted us to our very large gravel site. We needed another hose (ours was too short), called the office and they brought one out immediately for us to borrow, with a smile! We went into the bar to grab a beer after fishing but it’s cash only... the owner told the bartender to give us the beers and we could settle up later. (Was going to use the ATM inside the bar but for $5 service charge, which even the bartender discouraged!) Local area has a Super WalMart, some fast food, and shopping. Very convenient. Other campers very friendly and everyone was respectful of each other. A lot is seasonal sites here. Only “complaint” was maybe a little too expensive, but overall a great place. Will definitely be coming back here. We fished a bit in the lake, didn’t use the beach because it was too cold and rainy, but I think it would be perfect on a hot sunny day!

SIGN,SIGN, EVERY WHERE A SIGN!

Warning Signs All AROUND The Place!! Please look in Pics!! This campground would be a lil more fuller, & Beach too, if they didn’t overwhelm the place w/ over-sized -IN -YOUR- FACE signs everywhere!! It’s a great swimming place, the lakes beautiful ,& nice campground. A lil place to order some food, & a bar w/ to go cocktails. They have Scuba diving here too, w-some sunk boats, a bus, an airplane also! We’ll come back! The signs were kinda funny after a while!

If you like the beach with real sand,scuba diving in clear water, fishing and swimming with long large sites and a great restaurant with entertainment this is the place !!!
