$26
Pretty Nice
$26 for full hookups for the night in a pull-through spot! The town is small and out of the way, but that didn’t matter. Owner met us at the entrance to show us our spot. Clean campground, nice levels spots with gravel, a few playgrounds (big, sprawling park). Shower houses had weird handles with no temperature control.
This place is mainly for seasonal folks - lots of spiffy patios and golf carts everywhere. Pool was nice but turns to “adult swim” at 6 which was disappointing, especially on a weekday when nobody was really around. I don’t think we would ever want to stay on a weekend because it looks like a big party atmosphere, but the weekend night was quiet.
Out of their control - there were the weirdest loud bugs (?) sounding off almost all night in the trees. Kind of unnerving all around us - as loud as some kind of bird.

They Only Wanted Weekenders
I can't tell you what the campground itself is like because when I told the woman on the phone we would like to stay for 3 months she told me they didn't want us there. She was a little rude on the phone. When I called I asked for monthly rates and was told they only do daily or seasonal. I asked about seasonal and explained that we travel full time but have kids and grandkids in the area so we wanted to stay through the summer. The woman on the phone said that they cater to people that just park their rv's there for the season but only come out and use them on the weekends. Seems they cater to those that just want a party place for the weekends. She tried to tell me that full timers are undesirable because they 'junk up the place' by parking a bunch of vehicles in their spot and putting fridges and stuff outside. Ummm..I don't think so, we TRAVEL FULL TIME! Where would all these extra vehicles and appliances come from?!! How would we take them along traveling FULL TIME cross country!
