Great Park

Nice area. Great campground. Take the walk down to beaver pond. Many good trails in this park. Stayed here 40+ nights through the years and always enjoy it.

Nice And Quite Little Campground

This was nice for a one night stay. Very quite and absolutely gorgeous. Main Bathrooms were clean.

Very nice park super clean great campsite host. IDNR cleaned showers several times campers are very friendly. Needs water at the sites and sewer hook ups. The park is fantastic and the stable staff are awesome.

Spent Memorial Day weekend. Very busy and booked. Quiet campground not alot of privacy. Very overpriced. Have electricity but no water.

Very nice campground. Lodge in the park, really good food. Campsites were clean as was the bathhouse. Close to the Southern Illinois Wine Trail and beautiful lakes. will visit again.

Giant City Cabins

We stay here whenever we visit our boys at SIU. The park is beautiful, the cabins are very nice/clean, the lodge is an amazing piece of history & architecture, and the restaurant has the best fried chicken. All you can eat on Wednesdays! Don't miss out on the food, never expected such a good restaurant in a park, and very reasonable prices.

Surprise

Very nice state park about 10 miles west of I57. We didn't know what the expect when we arrived. Nice campground. Only one other person in the park tonight. So peaceful. Nice trails in the park. Beautiful CCC built lodge. Great restaurant.
