Top Ten Campground
We’ve stayed at a lot of campgrounds across the US and Galesburg East is one of the best we’ve come across. Long sites with room to spread out, great drainage so you aren’t in a swamp if it rains, swimming pool, laundry, fishing pond with dock, and beautiful view. There’s lots of trees for shade, but still easy to maneuver our big 43’ 5th wheel pulled by a 22’ dually. Just off of I74, but no road noise. We stayed for a week and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Was going to book online and form says no late check in past 8. You get to run your biz as you see fit and win or loose as a result. I won't be staying here.

35 Class A And Toad
Called an hour ahead of arrival. Very accommodating host drove us to site. Mostly tree sites with a couple of open field sites. Mostly pull thrust. Very nice place. Happy to stay again.

One night stay with a 35 foot pull behind. Called from the road. Easy in and out. Pull through had ample room for our camper with slides. Clean grounds. Clean restrooms. Good walking trail. Awesome mini golf. Enjoyed the pool. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good Sam discount. The grands loved it. Would stay again.

Love this little park. Mindy is very nice and very accommodating. The park is quiet.

Really enjoyed It.
Very friendly people, they even bring your firewood to you. They make sure that everything is good. Showers are clean, I wish that they were more vented, we about died from the humidity. They were draining the pool, because it was getting close to the end of the year. Very nice though and really enjoyed it. Thumbs up.

Escapee
Beautiful park. Our Escapees chapter spent four days here and had a ball! Had a problem with my jacks and Bill, the owner, came right over and fixed the problem. What a guy! His wife Mindy takes care of the office Along with help from Marion, Bill’s dad. They keep everything spotless. Wish there were more parks like this one. We will definitely be back.

Almost every site has a shade tree. Just stayed overnight but very nice campground. Heated pool and a nice fishing pond

Nicely shaded, not too noisy. Long, easy to navigate, pull through for a 30' towing a 12' trailer. Enjoyed the walking path after a long day's drive. Clean bathroom & showers. Nice looking pool & kids playground, but we didn't use. Would definitely stay again. Just stayed 1 night as we passed through the area.

Nice and Clean
Stayed overnight, great hosts and clean facilities! Highway noise and train whistles were somewhat annoying.

We stayed there last year for labor day weekend for four nights. Going back again this year. It is a little tight pulling out when it’s full. But overall great campground. Great owners.

Wad a very nice place for our stopover. They have a green well trimmed path to walk that is 1 mile that is in the woods I loved it.
Bathrooms clean.
The sites are narrow and so so as far as being level. WiFi not secure.

Extremely Nice Hosts!
We we're boondocking and needed a place to dump, they let us dump the tanks an wouldn't accept money. I will recommend them to anyone, beautiful campground and good hosts you can't ask for more!

We stayed here 2 nights. Owners were the best! I love that they take you to your spot and make sure you have everything you need. Kids had a blast. Only thing we wished it was a little more secluded, could hear the near by Interstate, not a big deal, just could hear the traffic more than i would of liked. Once campground was full didnt notice it as much!

Even though they didnt have tent spots I was put in a regular rv spot .I have to have power for sleep apnea machine. $17 wifi worked good nice staff couldnt have been happier. If I go to the Peoria TT or on another motorcycle roadtrip I will camp here for sure. Oh forgot be very careful in the shower there is a about four or five inch ledge going in and out. I took a tumble and was glad I didnt hurt myself.

Hidden Gem
Galesburg, Illinois. Campground called Galesburg East but technically is in Knoxville, Illinois just outside of Galesburg. A recycled KOA....wonderfully quiet, shady campground set in among cornfields....easy in and out with wide, level, gravel spaces, fire rings and tables...bathrooms acceptable water pressure a bit weak...wifi good.....wonderful host. All sites pull through and FHU. Good Sams discount. We camped in a fifth-wheel and would come back.
