Nice Park
Stayed in the section of pine trees . All the campsites real nice . Smaller park. Restaurant / store is closed and looking for a vendor to open shop. Shower house seems fairly new ……water was on the edge of being warm but not warm enough to shower/ host didnt really seem to interested. Round barn is pretty cool , have to check it out on the inside, there are tours the first and third Saturday of the month to go inside Rather large group of campers with very loud music playing for a couple of days. Lake is real nice with good fishing and boat ramp. Some of the trails we hiked were very well kept the other ones were a little rougher but ok. Give me some hot water and no loud music and this place is an easy 4 if not a 5!!!!! We will be back

Nice Stay
Very nice little park. Wonderful wooded camping for RV’s & tents. Very clean showers & sites. Several trails for hiking. Looks like a small restaurant/store is there but it was closed when we stayed. Will come back again.

Wonderful Quiet place
We stayed here in our travel trailer, August 2020, campsite 24. It was a beautiful place. Half of the campground had 50 foot tall pine trees that we’re gorgeous. Bath house nice but far from many campsites. The Round Barn is picturesque.

Overgrown Grass And Weeds
Beautiful park but all the sites were overgrown with grass and weeds. The grass along the roads and at the Round Barn was mowed short but the campsites were a mess. In addition to the long weedy grass, our fire pit and picnic table were in bad shape. The bath house was ok but there was no hot water for the men's showers.
It's really a shame that the campsites aren't maintained as they generate money for the state.

No Fun
Camp there a lot years ago. State out of $$ don’t mow often enough. Big sites but they expect guest to park a mile away from campgrounds very disappointed

Disappointed
We arrived at the park excited about staying overnight. Local options were poor, and this was a lovely park. Bathrooms and showers were locked. (April 26th, 2018) So it may be year round park, but all amenities do not seem to be available. If you can dry camp, this is a beautiful place.

Don't Miss The Barn!
We stayed in a part that is heavily wooded and absolutely gorgeous. No water hookups, but water is easily accessible upon entry to the camping area. There is a lake with paddleboat rentals for a fun activity. Also, be sure to go through the round barn on the property (even better, try to get on one of the short guided tours). It's a 100+ year old barn listed on the National Historic Register. Very impressive!

Nice Place
Clean beautiful setting, plentiful spots, able to park 40ft trailer with large truck. Loved that multiple spots we centrally located around the playground for our young children to play. Clean shower house (only one for the whole campground).
