Great Campground

7 May 2023 - they are renovating the restrooms and shower facilities. November 2022 - Lots of spots are reservable…lots of them are first come, first serve (depending when you camp, that term may be abused). Level spots for the most part, easy walk to see the lake from anywhere you stay and a lot of wildlife in the area. Electric sites with a drive by dump and water at the entrance/exit. Camp store has some basics and Walmart is about 12 min away. Country store has a lady named Val that does an awesome biscuits and gravy breakfast. Definitely recommend the breakfast!! Note: breakfast is served during hunting season. Definitely will come here again!

Drove two and half hours to get there and no place to stay I’ve done this twice and never again there are hundreds of little kids tents on spots being saved no people no campers just little play tents IDNR needs to step up and put a stop to this crap I wasn’t the only one driving around trying to find a place to park what a joke

Had a great time. Nice large campsite that was very quiet during my 5 day stay. My family and I will definitely come back.
