Nice Campground

Very neat and clean campground with beautiful restrooms and showers. Nice playground and pool. No tents but has 30 amp or 50 amp hookups. Owners had our site map and instructions taped to the door for our late arrival. Very close to interstate so plenty of road noise but AC was enough to dull it.

Clean and Inexpensive

Very nice campground for the price. Restrooms are clean. The pool and grounds are well kept. The only drawback is the interstate traffic. Would definitely stay again. It also honors Good Sam.

This is a beautiful campground with absolutely wonderful people running it! In talking with them we observed that they were so kind and caring to others. They truly carried on their brother’s dream. We decided at the last minute to take a chance and pull off for the night. We hadn’t made prior reservations and just took on a wild gamble. Such a diamond! The shower rooms were spotless and so was their landscaping. We didn’t swim in the pool but it also looked very nice. I can’t say enough nice things about Kamp Komfort! By far the cleanest, nicest and friendliest campground on our trip out west to visit the Yellowstone area from Indiana. I promise that you won’t be disappointed!

We have been on the road for one week now and Kamp Komfort was our first stop. This park is by far the best one we have stayed in so far. The owners are on site and so friendly. The grounds and facilities are immaculate!! I would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice But

Very well maintained with a very friendly staff. Site was level with good space between sites. WiFi was great until a motorhome parked in next site which blocked signal to nothing. Highway noise made sitting outside impossible. Fortunately A/C masked noise and allowed us to sleep. Would be an easy 5 with better WiFi and further from highway.

Nice clean campground, easy in and out, right next to interstate and railroad tracks. Lots of semi tractor trailer noise that your a/c will drown out. The train came past around 8 pm. Would stay again. About $45 for 50 amp.

During the Covid pandemic

Very conveniently located just off of Highway 74. They did a good job with no contact my Reservation was taped to the door of the office with all the instructions needed. Because of COVID no one was allowed to go into the laundry room or bathroom and there was no tent camping. They gave a number that you can text to get firewood or ice delivered to your campsite. The pool wasn’t open because of because of Illinois’s strict precautionary measures due to the pandemic. Very pleasant people work here and the camp site is very clean and neat.

Great campground. Clean, well laid out and organized. You can hear traffic when your outside your RV but wasn’t too bad. Would stay there again.

Loved It!

We only stayed one night. The park is clean and well maintained. The site we had (17 ft Toy Hauler) 30 amp was gravel, level, shaded and generous in size. The staff was very friendly. I only heard the expressway noise occasionally when I was outside. It didn’t keep me up. If I come this way again I would stay here.

Great Clean Place

Very nice campgrounds with true pull-thru sites. Friendly staff and clean sites. All gravel roads to site and grass/gravel lot. Nice pool. Access is a little challenging over narrow bridge/road but not heavily traveled. Definitely would return

Nice place, will never go there again. The highway noise ( Hwy 74) is next to the campground. Could not sleep at all. We were in early and were put in the worst spot. Right next to the hwy. Not even 100 ft.away.

Awesome Owner & Great Place.

Saw a few reviews about the highway noise. Didn't bother us at all. Level pads, and garbage collected every morning, and a nice pool. I pulled up in my spot a little too far and didn't realize what I had done until it was time to hook up the sewer hose. Needless to say, my hose was about 5ft short. The owner purchased a sewer hose that day, because I had to get my daughter to a softball tournament. Highly recommend and we'll stay here again in two weeks.

Very nice place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Full hook ups, level surface, nice pool. Looks like the store is in the process of being built, so no luck if you need anything quick.

Awesome Owner

Called after hours and was first told that it’s too late to get a spot that he didn’t want the guest to be distributed that late. I understood that. About 5 minutes later my phone rang and it was the owner. He said he had s spot right inside the park and I could take it. Would stay here again!!

Overnight Stop.

Arrived at Komfort Camp by chance. Due to weather, we could not make it to our intended destination. Komfort Camp was a great find. Owner helpful, showers warm. An excellent overnight stop

Great Place

Owner very helpful and nice clean camp ground. Loved staying here.

Very Nice

Stayed 4 nights. Everything is well maintained and clean. Dog exercise area very small. Noise was not so bad as others may suggest but that is very objective. We enjoyed our stay.

Don't Use GPS

Nice park and people were very nice & friendly. Only problem... If you are coming off of Highway 39, . DO NOT use GPS. You will end up on tiny gravel two track path across a field. Stay on Hwy. 39 and get off at Hwy. 74.

Very Nice Comfortable RV Camp

This was conveniently located off I74 and had all the comforts of home needed for a nice quiet dinner on picnic table, warm fire, walk the pups and get a good night's rest. Owners were very helpful and willing to get me what I needed to be have a relaxing stay.

Nice place except very noisy. Close to freeway and train tracks. Wifi is very limited and slow. Garbage was picked up for you in the morning.

Nice But Noisy

This is a very well maintained campground with wide spaces and mature trees. Everyone nice and they pick up the garbage. The only disadvantage is being next to the Interstate. The campground has 30 amp on one side and 50 the other.

Extremely nice camp grounds. Clean and well maintained. We pulled in after dark and the manager led us to our site and even did most of the hookup when he saw my husband's limitations. All sites level and spacious with trees and pull throughs. Highly recommend unless you are a very light sleeper as the highway is close by.

Love To RV

Too close to highway. Very noisy all night long trucks screaming by. Clean and grounds kept nice.
