Horrible Host.
The campground itself is fine, and clean. The host was very rude and unaccommodating. I was planning on staying for 8 days. Left after one night. There are many other campsites with great hosts.

Palisades Creek Campground
National Forest Campground. Closes end of September. Small (8) spaces but has separate horse trailer parking area. Creek & hiking trails.

Tiny, Quiet, Great Hiking
Very small, only seven sites (camp host takes one), adjacent to beautiful creek. Terrific hiking trail to Lower and Upper Lakes, horses and bikes allowed.
