Not Quite What We Pictured

Friendly and helpful staff who gave us a tour of the park and let us pick our own site. Sites are on grass and are close together, but level and it was surprisingly quiet. There is a restaurant on the property and it’s only a couple of miles to food and coffee in either direction. Views of the lake were phenomenal. Restrooms (5 in total) were a bit scary. They are set up as full bathrooms with sink, toilet and shower together behind a locking door. It was in the upper 80’s during our two night stay and the bathrooms were wet, unventilated and swampy. If you park on the upper level, you choose to use the porta-pottie or hike across the road to the bathrooms on the lower level near the lake. More of a campground than a “resort” but you can’t beat the view.

Super quiet an absolutely lovely

Really beautiful park with a lovely beach it was extra quiet and super scenic. expensive $60 for one night for two people. It reads that it has cable but it does not. And there is no dump.

Nice hosts, let you choose your own site. Great lake access. We would definitely stay here again. Only drawbacks are no sewer hookups but they do supply tank dump also no coin changer in the laundry.

What a wonderful place to stay! There is no sewer, but the bathrooms are close. The sunsets are spectacular, the park is very clean. A playground, plenty of areas to walk your dog. The sites are a bit tight, but it was a great experience. This place has a live and let live vibe. Not a place for the retired unless you don't mind younger people partying a bit. It's all in good fun and no one is loud. There is alot of night life activity at the restaurant, but I enjoyed listening to people have a good time and then 10 pm rolled around and all was quiet. No fire pits though. Showers are clean and not coin operated. Wear wet shoes for the beach as it's rocky, but a perfect temperature for swimming. Dogs are welcomed in the lake and the owners aren't harassing you if your dogs are off leash on your site. Be respectful, clean and they're great. I would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem

The whole vibe of the place is fantastic. The marina, bar, restaurant, beach, campsites - all of it is great. No dump station but you can get get pumped out 3x per week (M, W, F) at $25 per. Spendy but the place as a whole is worth it.
