Nice Small And Out Of The Way

If you like a no frills location, just water/electric and peace and quiet..... ....county park.....then this is great...... our pooch swam for over an hour while we cooled off in the reservoir..... nice breeze under the trees and really few people here, on a Wednesday.... just one night....... and a cool young man as park manager,(Ryan).......

Not What I Expected

The RV park portion is nice. Water and electric for $25 a night. Free dump station. The beach/swimming area is less than desirable. Lots of debris/trash on beach, tall weeds/branches in the water. I was there the week of July 16, the water was murky, lots of dead bugs.

We Come Every Year

We camp for a weekend every year because we enjoy this park so much. The sites are large and shaded and free dump on site. There's a playground for kids and it's a short walk to the lake where you will find a dock and a small beach. There's a nice walking or biking trail about a mile long that goes around part of the lake and atv's are allowed in the park.
