Beautiful And Peaceful
We stayed at site #41 (nice corner lot, you have water view from all angles) for 4 nights. Lots of space. Only 30 amp, water pressure was great. Very level, gravel, fire pit large picnic table. Great service, I have Verizon husband has AT&T. Bath house were cleaned daily, needs some mirrors replaced and a shower head but still clean. Laundry room 1 washer 1 dryer. Host were wonderful. It was so beautiful and peaceful, we had no desire to go exploring outside the park.

Quiet And Scenic
We spent 3 nights on site #8. Couldn't ask for a more peaceful view. Staff were very friendly. Will stay here again.

Bad Experience
Long story short, we had an absolutely atrocious experience with the camp host. He became very confrontational and was so rude he sent my wife into tears. All we wanted to do was to stay one night! He and his wife then threatened to call the Sheriff and the Park Ranger on us if we didn't leave. We were completely blown away at their reaction! We have been full-time for almost a year now and this was by far the worst camp host experience we've had to date. We did however, end up having a wonderful time and camp host experience when we drove to the R. Schaefer Heard Campground on the other side of the lake. Note: there are 2 sets of camp hosts at each of these campgrounds. Best of luck if you're going here, it is a great place.

Had a great week there. The lake scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Plus the crappie fish are so tasty.

Nice Place
We stay at Whitetail several times a year. Lots of lakeside spots. Only wish they had more rest rooms. They have 3 but one has been out of order for over a year.
