Great Stop

I called to reserve a spot on travels to SC did not get a answer or a reply but when we. Arrived the owner/manager was ready for us. Perfect pull through did not even have to unhook camper from pickup. Not much outside area or table. It was perfect for a short stay. There are other areas that looked great for a longer stay.

Unreliable!!!!!!

Like the title says. Tried calling and only got answer machine. Left a message I was inbound and should make it there during normal working hours for their office and asked if they would call me back so I could give them my info and square everything away before I show up. Showed up just before closing, office was locked, the lady who owns the place was somewhere on the property and her vehicle was still at the office on the property. Met a guy who was headed to shower said she was here somewhere. He tried calling her cell phone and got her voicemail. That’s when I left. Wasted hour and half of my time. Thanks Big Oak RV Park!!!!! We’ll never ever ever ever waste our time again.

Monthly

Nice park, level sites. Old lady that owns the park is not nice at all. Stayed here for work ona monthly rate and got stuck in one of the overnight spot within a few feet of the road. With that being said I’ve been nothing but respectful and understanding but it seems like every time I go to do something the lady in the office is telling me I can’t do it. I’d recommend it for a short stay, but not anything longer than a few weeks.

Noise

Pulled in before a rain storm hit, pull through site, level with 50amp. Only down side is road noise didnt calm down until 1030p some during the late night, but started up in full swing by 5am. Pull through site was within 100ft of the road, felt like were were sleeping on the service road.

Nice Quite Park- Monthly Friendly

Nice quite park, with nice office staff. We got to pick our site, good water pressure and sites were level; there’s a mix of paved and gravel sites. Unfortunately, no cable or WiFi so break out the books. Met some really nice people here, very safe park. Small town, you have to drive 5 miles back towards Bremen to get to a grocery store but lot of fast food and a nice diner less than a mile from I 20 . Would come again for sure !

Nice Accommodations

Very nice, owner awaited our arrival after hours. Very friendly, pristine restrooms and showers!

Beautiful Park. Quiet, nice accomodations. Marilyn took us in at the last minute. Called one hr before arrival. Was Dark when we arrived.

Not Typical

Great find for overnight or longer. Rolling campground with lots of trees and shrubbery. Asphalt roads and pull thrus. Laundry room and bath houses. Very clean. Full hook ups and several air TV channels. Rates $19/night. 30 amp $101/week & $325/month. 50 amp $107/week & $350/month.
