Not Impressed
The new big rig friendly area is not well maintained. They go weeks without cutting grass, if you want to call it grass it is more weeds than anything else. It is plagued with sewer pipe issues and the sewer pump alarm goes off on a regular basis. It is loud and makes it difficult to enjoy being outside or have your windows open. They have unreasonable pool rules and require you to have a new wrist band each day. There is an indoor club house that is not actually available to campers and you have to pay to use the outdoor pavilion. Staff will text you to let you know when you have not followed their unreasonable rules and when you respond, tell you that number is for emergencies only. Our monthly lot fee was $1100 and this campground was not worth that in any way shape or form.

NEVER AGAIN
This campground is now called Battlefield Campground. It is no longer a KOA.
The office staff were friendly and that's it for a positive campground review. This place is run down and falling apart. It's primarily a long term trailer park with a couple of spaces for transient campers like us. We needed to do laundry but all four of their washers were out of service, but at $4 a wash we ended up going to the local laundry mat
The playground is literally falling apart, bent and dangerous.
Water was turned off 4 of the 5 days we were there due to multiple leaks throughout the park. The first one they told us about the other three were complete surprises.
The bathrooms by the office were small but clean and private. However, the bathrooms in the park were gross and did not feel safe, one door handle was not secure and if "jiggled" you could see into the bathroom from outside.
2 stars because it was about 30 minutes from alot of attractions.

Be Very Careful
We thought this was the Lookout Mountain KOA, it was not. The Lookout Mountain KOA is about 35 miles away from I75.

Do Not Bother
We called 4 times from 2:30 -5. No call back. Stopped by and checkin sign said sites 1-60 are for their long term members. And these sites are available marked on map. There were NO sites marked on map. Had to drive through park to get out. Looked sloppy with all the full timers. Other non resident sites seemed tight. Glad they did not respond. Found nice site farther down the road at Leisure Time RV Park. Very accomodating

Nice Campground For Visiting Chattanooga
This is now called Battlefield Campground formerly a KOA. it has a combination of seasonal sites and transit. Good location for a short stay to visit the area. Very friendly camp. Clean laundry $1.50 for was and $1.50 for dry. Sites are gravel and relatively level. We enjoyed 2 nights and would return.

Nice Park Great WiFi Neat Landscape
Enjoyed our stay with 50 amp pull thru. Nice walking trail around park. Dog park well kept n had dog jumps/walks. Gravel site was level n dry. Laundry had new machines n wife gives it high marks. Didn’t use bath/shower. Landscape well kept. All sites have shade. Plenty of kid stuff - bouncing thing n game room. Extremely convenient for Lookout Mt attractions n Walmart. FYI - diesel was 35 cents/gallon less in town vs. station close to park

We would NEVER stay here again! Most of the staff were nice enough. They were polite, but not very helpful. The price was OK (just don’t plan on getting the promised cable TV or WiFi) and the lots (while rather small) were level (enough). I would have given a better rating, but the Cons outweighed the few good points by far. Shortly after my arrival I discovered a crowd of drunken seasonal & short term campers, run-down facilities, & confederate flags flying. I’m not judging anyone negatively based on the flags they chose to fly, but more so on the never ending use of foul language, heaps of beer cans/bottles, dirty looks/stares my (interracial) family received, garbage everywhere, and a playground that more closely resembled a haunted house. The playground was a death trap or at best an invitation for a tetanus shot at the local ER (see Pics!). I only stayed out of pure exhaustion! I locked my family into our RV and left before the sun came up the very next morning! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Ok, But Not KOA
Ok for a night off season. Would be very close quarters if full—I’m here off season. Staff was friendly. WiFi is too weak to work at my spot. Big dog park. Gravel sites, mine is fairly level.
