Nice Park
Wife and I stopped for the night. We got there just before dark. Stayed in site 2. Left by 10am next morning. Wish we had more time to check it out it looked very nice. We will be backas its only about 3 hours from home.

Good Time To Unwind
Good camping… enough said. Check in is a confusing , must go into the lodge to check in. They had us in site 9 awful it was for a 40’ RV. But my 26’ wouldn’t fit to short and not wide enough, not level (PIC). Moved to 18 good site, a little difficult to get in but level. Fire ring, garbage hook, table, 30, cable, Verizon 3 bars, Site 9 close to bathhouse. Bathroom was clean, laundry in working order. The park in general needs to TLC ,mini golf, beach area mini golf course, volleyball, tables and grills throughout CG, a couple book exchanges in CG, firewood bundle $5, bring what you need grocery store is 15m away. Would visit again!!

Great Time
We got here on Thursday afternoon in the pouring rain and stopped at the lodge to check in. The girls were friendly and helpful. They directed me right around to the site. The site had 2 30amp and 2 115 outlets. Near a good bit of sites they have a sink/soap dump area. Camp host have been helpful and very interested in our skoolie build. Definitely will be back.

Man, it sucks to be negative, but I am extremely disappointed in this park. We primarily stay at state parks when we travel just to get away from it all. The staff wasn't outright rude, but you could tell if you weren't there to stay in the lodge you were treated different. I got grumbled at for picking up fallen twigs and branches for a campfire because all they had was pine. I was told to buy their fire wood or no fire at all. Site was not maintained at all, very un level and water leaked bad. I would not recommend this park, but others may have a better experience. It is a real shame because it's a perfect halfway point for us to stop when traveling.

We are camping here now. It’s probably one of the nicest state parks we’ve been to. We are on lot 32 and it’s very unlevel. Some sites have full hookup but ours didn’t. Everyone is really nice. We will definitely be back!

Pretty nice state park. There are about 6 level spots for a 36ft rig. Easy into and out of park. Stay in the lower loop if you are in a class A. Bathrooms are nice. Great area to walk the dogs. Stay away from the water, gators! Beautiful sunsets over the water. Nice fire pit and picnic table area. Lots of trees. Some sites have full hook ups now. Site 5 is low in the front. 2 boards under each front tire. Nice playground area for the kids. People fishing off the docks. We have stayed here twice. Will stay again.

Nice State Park With Golf
Larger than most shower facility. Many of back in sites are tricky. Has wonderful affordable golf course. Restaurant in lodge has breakfast buffet. Lots of kids stuff but seemed kind of shut down in Sept 2018.

Great Restrooms
The restrooms look brand new. However the camping area is out of sight of the lake. There are alligators in the lake as well as a lot of vegetation that doesn't belong there. Not wise to swim in lake but campers not allowed in the pool. Target practice at prison on other side of lake was like fireworks all day till after 8pm at night. With student pilots practising stallouts all day it was NOT a restful place to stay. For a one night stay enroute it would be fine. Restroom is handicap accessible and the camp apoyd are ok with water and electricity ay all of them.

Nice campground with cable hook ups thru out, several full hook up with gray water dumps around campsites.
