Lovely Park
We stayed overnight at this beautiful lakeside park. Very spacious, tall trees, shade, green grass, super clean restrooms snd the employees were extremely friendly. Highly recommend. $27 watt/electric, $35 full hookup.

Stayed for Florida stopovers twice. Friendly staff, nice sites, and beautiful setting. It was off-season and very quiet. Regular patrols by rangers. Convenient from I-75. Will definitely return.

Great Campground Friendly's Staff
We used this campground as a stopover going from Tampa to the smokey mountains. Perfect stopover point. Great views outstanding and friendly staff. The reason I didn't give a star rating is the laundry room needed cleaning and they need to put a bench in the shower area. We will stay here again when passing through. The rates are more than reasonable.

Camper
Stayed one night on site 25. Very scenic campground with natural beauty. The shower house was dirty with no hot water. The laundromat was dirty and in need of repair.

Ants
Stopped for a quick overnight while passing through on a Friday night. $23 for water, elec and cable. Park was beautiful. Bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Not very clean, full of ants and a little run down. In the site 14 hours total and have a camper full of ants.

Great And...
It's hard to rate this park. Pros are great design & layout, CHEAP for full hookup on the water ($25), relatively kinda somewhat clean, quiet. Very much like it (Site 45). Cons are a disgusting laundry house - there was something that looked like a 5" dead grasshopper in the washer and the machines are rusted out, questionable looking showers, little bits of broken bottles, trash here and there in some places... In summary, looks like a place that someone with a lot of motivation and vision created for the county only for it to be underfunded and under-maintained later on.

Decent, Needs Work
Pros - Nice views of the lake, close to Fish N’ Pig restaurant, full hookups (only at lakefront sites), warm bathrooms with showers in winter. Cons - Site 43 sewer hookup was uphill from site, site 42 above it water hookup was buried in sand, washers/dryers looked bad not sure if they worked, not much privacy. Site 45 is waterfront and sewer hookup level with pad best I remember so it looks like a good one.

Double stop
Stopped here out of desperation and glad we did. On our way from Florida to see the Ark Encounter in KY. Like it here so we stopped again on our way back. Plan to come back and spend a few days on the lake.
