Great COE Georgia Campground !
Love the FHUs! Stayed in August in site 22, back in, mostly level, small gravel, concrete pad under concrete picnic table. Nice shepherds hook, hummers found our feeder! Nice fire pit, block table, and pedestal grill.Lots of pine needles, some bugs mostly mosquitoes and no seeums.None of the sites are the same. If you need to have WiFi to work remotely,no T-Mobile service and hit or miss with Starlink, at site 22. Hotspot was ok. Like the patio site at 22. Higher up on a ledge, so it isn’t directly on the road. Helps with a slice of water view also. Lots of campers with boats and fishing here. Bathhouse is AC and clean, didn’t use but hot water in the sink.Tons of deer and birds. Camp hosts make rounds and are friendly. Like the gated entrance. Easy to ride bikes around the campground. 25 minutes to Eufaula, stores and restaurants are located. There is a playground by the designated swimming area. Clean, but ants. Fish cleaning shed and 2 huge dog parks!

One of my favorites
Great COE campground on a beautiful lake for fishing and kayaking. There are a variety of sites, some closer together and less private along the beach and others well spaced with shade trees and plenty of vegitation for privacy. No problems in May, but picked up chiggers in August in the tall grass abutting the lake. Take precautions if you visit this park.

I did not stay at the campground I can’t say anything about it. The people at the front desk wouldn’t allow me to do a drive-through to select a site. Not even a day pass . They were very rude. Only way to get past that gate is to have a reservation. I have been camping in 38 states And I would never go back there

Just Ok For COE
COE campgrounds are our favorites and we stay at lots of them all over the country. For a COE campground this is just OK. It is full hookup, which is rare for COE, and is a plus. Sites are closer together than normal, and almost no vegetation between sites, which is not the usual. Nice sandy beach area. You can drive your boat up to, and anchor it at your site. Lots of water activities, but not much else, unless you drive at least 30 - 40 minutes. The 2 restaurants that are within 15 minutes are both closed Monday - Wednesday. Good for 1-2 nights unless you fish, then a longer stay is appropriate. Check out Providence Canyon State Park if you have the time. $28/$14 with senior pass.

My New Favorite COE Campground in GA!
We’ve stayed at a couple COE campgrounds in GA, but finding one with full hookups (p/w/s) is awesome and for a price that you can’t beat! Beautiful setting on the Walter F. George Reservoir. (Beware of gators.) Site 27 backed up to the water with about 75 feet between the clean, level pad and the shoreline. They have shower, bathrooms and laundry. In warmer temps, there’s a fish cleaning hut near the entrance and dump station. A dog park is available if you want to let your furry children off leash for a bit. Use the recreation.gov app for reservations.

Typical COE campground, beautiful, well laid out, and nicely maintained. Some sites looked challenging for a large class A due to their steep slope down to the rv pad.

Quick Weekend Trip
Quick weekend get-away with the family (2 nights) . It was Halloween weekend also. Most campers set out tables at the front of their sites and had bowls of candy for trick or treaters. We stayed in site 45. It was very clean and freshly blown off when we arrived. Very large site, with good spacing between you and the next camper. We saw deer from our site on both nights. We also saw hogs on the other side of the waters edge from our site. Can't wait to come back! Very relaxing!

Beautiful Spot
We stayed in lot 94 for two nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Shade trees covered every lot. Wild life abound. Peaceful and serene. The restrooms were older but clean and a laundry area with a washer and dryer. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful Birdwatching!
We enjoyed our stay at this campground. The area was teeming with wildlife, including deer, herons, pelicans and songbirds. Most of the sites are right on the water, with excellent views. Sites are a good size, and most are level. The bathroom, shower, and laundry were clean and functional. There's a 1-2 mile nature trail, in addition to plenty of walking in the campground. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, nature-filled site with good facilities.

A Great COE Park
Stayed here for two nights. Full hookups with a view of the lake. We are on a pull through site that is pretty level and lots of room. I love the fact it has a fire pit as well as a charcoal grill. A table next to the grill is an added bonus. Did not use the camp bathrooms so can’t comment on them. A real nice hiking trails in the park. $14 with the Senior Pass. A great value even at full price.

$13 with senior discount, all sites are full hookup. Very nice Corps Park. 3 loops, Pine Island reservable sites are not very nice, close and parking pads are ruined from tree roots. FCFS are nicer & spacious. Marina View is all FCFS and beautiful, some water, some woods. Lots of deer. Old Mill Rd has nice reservable sites and FCFS sites, concrete, spacious and private. All bathrooms have laundry area and are clean. The gate attendants are very nice and helpful. You can look and pick a site if not reserved. Also we could have stayed 2 weeks, changed sites and stayed 2 additional weeks! If you make a reservation and don’t like your site, they let you change for no extra cost. I’m sure we will come back!

Retired Cop
This camp ground at Cotton Hill is outstanding. The individual camper parking areas are level and laid out perfect. Each lot has all of the needed electrical, water and sewage ports. The individual areas have a large picnic table, fire ring and pedestal grill. The area are clean and level, covered with very fine gravel. The lots are positioned so you do not have a direct line of sight of the neighbors. The lots are shaded and visually appealing. There are clean bath houses available if needed. Some lots have direct access to the lake and the beach area. If you fish the lake is a great place to fish year round. The camp grounds are supervised by camp host who maintain the grounds and enforce the rules. Since the grounds have a controlled access point, you feel secure at all times. If you are over 62 or over, ask about the lifetime senior savings card. This will save you money at all federal camp grounds and parks nationwide.

One of the best parks I have been to. Scenery is fantastic ! Park was very clean. The Showers and restrooms were spotless. The staff was great and friendly. Lots of wildlife to watch. The catfish restaurant just a mile away was great as well. This park is just 20 miles from Kolomoki mounds state park which was great. Also close to Providence State Park ( little Grand Canyon). The scenery in this park was nothing short of incredible. Lots of pictures. Great area! Will know doubt be back.

Open and Clean
I have stayed at this facility twice and love it. Ample room between sites with lots of shade. Sites are fairly level and well drained. Showers are clean with plenty of hot water. We will definitely stay here again. Other corps facilities around this lake are just as nice but without sewer hookups.

Worth It.
We camped on tent site 98. Shade all day and close to the water. Power on site and water spigot 20 yards either side of the site. Campground very clean along with the bathhouse's.
