Passing Through Last Minute Booking
One night stop over. Laundry site very new open 24 hours. Dated playground, fun tree swing and kids loved it. Grassy area to walk dogs, dog park looked like just dirt on ground in fence area. Clean pool and pool area. Our site was on an end #30 and had a metal table, chairs and stone patio with fire pit, on gravel but not level. Not all sites have this. Lots of long term residents. Friendly staff and friendly cats. Would stay again.

Nice Stop With New Management
I don’t know what happened in the past, but our experience at Cedar Break RV Park and Campground. The amenities were well-kept, pool clean despite fall leaves. No problem stopping without a reservation. Ok with dog. Reasonable price. Power/water. List one star because space wasn’t close to level, but heavy graveled so the auto levelers were fine. Previous comment was pretty negative. I’d say give them a try.

Avoid! CedarBreak Is The Name
I think the previous reviews were probably relatives saying good things. When we arrived to check in, they claimed we did not have a reservation. I booked this last year in October and had kept the confirmations in my email inbox. I showed them the information and they claimed nothing like this has never occurred happened in three years.
I found my charges on my statement for credit card and offered to give them the info so they could get paid. They claimed they were on the phone with the company that handles their charges and said they didn’t need it. No sorry, no thanks - seemed rude through the entire process. I told them I just wanted to be honest and make sure they got their money.
They did accommodate us for a site where we did not have to unhook. The site was very unlevel. Front to back. It was tight due to our slide out. Could not level it because of the way the hook ups were. The water hook up leaks of a slow trickle. At least it was quiet for the night.
Oh and no cookies.

New Name
Don’t get confused but the new name is Cedar Break, aka: Calhoun KOA & Calhoun A-OK. Just beyond the Moose Club & on the RIGHT. SUPER AWESOME people running it, mom-in-law checked us in (thank you) & daughter-in-law Jennifer brought us warm cookies. You can tell they are working on the place, lots of new gravel, new electrical and lights on the posts. It’s gonna be a hit! Thank you

Overnight Stay
Got into this campsite late but, easy setup no problem finding the site. Check out in the morning was great. They’re renovating the main office but, was not a problem. Seems to be a good stop site.
Not a KOA anymore.

Getting Better
I see some reviews from a couple years ago warning against this campground. We just finished a two week stay and I'm happy to say, it was good. There are new owners who are getting things up to snuff. The staff was excellent, better than some of the really expensive places we've stayed this year. We are here for a family emergency, so it's not a great time of year to camp in N GA and we didn't really have time to try out any amenities.

Solid Park For The Money
Very nice workers. Treated us well. Facilities are older but new owners trying to make improvements.
Only concerns are some sites not.level and some full time folks living there (not sure if that is good or bad).

I tent camped. Arrived early evening. Jesse was friendly and helpful. A bit spendy for tent camp $25 but it was quiet. Coffee was hot and fresh in the morning! Subway and grocery very close by. Water spigot on tent site. Easy access from 75.

Just Dont.
No matter how tired you are, keep going! The asshole next to us let his dog bark from 5 a.m. until 5:30 and starts his truck with loud mufflers to run 15 minutues and wakes up the whole place because "he has to work"Don't try and talk to him he will threaten to assault you.I wish there was a no star option.

Never Again
We decided to stop here on our way back from Fort Wilderness. This place is a run down dump. You can tell at one time it was nice but now it is filled primarily with permanent residents and has had very little maintenance done. This is an awful stop for anyone traveling through because beaches are low hanging. Wifi doesn't work and cable is mostly static. I can see why KOA dropped them off of their label.
