Being so close to I-95, the freeway noise is constant and annoying. At $48 per nite, I thought it was expensive for what it had to offer which is proximity to Jekyll and St. Simon’s Island and Atlantic Ocean.

Good Location, Campground A Bit Run Down
Good location near I-95, Brunswick, and Jekyll and St Simons islands. Packed sand entry roads and sites with a small (20x10) concrete pad on the curb side. Our site is a pull through full hookup, very close to neighboring sites. Beautiful large pines and live oaks and enough shrubbery between sites to provide minimal privacy for some sites but not others. The staff doesn’t seem to clean up because all sites and roads are covered with fallen leaves and branches. Bathhouses are old and in need of maintenance and a thorough cleaning (sorry to see this as a recurring statement in my reviews). Nice laundry facility and LP filling station (closed Sunday). In summary, campground is a 3 because it is a bit run down, not cared for, relatively expensive, and had close, sand sites, but because of good location, full hookup and amenities, might be a 4 for others.

Great Campsite
This is a well layed out campground that is well maintained and clean. Each site has privacy with electric and water. Some are full hookups. The laundry is clean with nice machines. The bathrooms need a little attention as far as draining, but they are clean. We would definitely come back here when we are in the area.

Love It!
Peaceful, semi-wooded sites gives you some privacy, each with a concrete slab, table, and fire pit. Both a small lake with a beach and river access on site for kayaking, boating, or swimming. I can't say enough about the endless trails in the park that are perfect for daily walks or mountain bikes. Friendly staff, clean bath house. We are looking forward to coming back and bringing our grand kids.

Hidden Gem
I stole the title from the lady at checkin and she’s totally correct. I rolled in at 6:55pm without calling ahead and they where locking up because, well, the office closes at 6pm. I begged only slightly and that’s all it took, they gave me a spot and I’m so grateful. I was instantly in love with the grounds and the spacious sites with a fair amount of privacy. Full hookups and amazing interweb! Most parks that offer WiFi can never get it working properly. I was just streaming at 1080p NP. Great area to visit and delicious dining options. I like it so much I decided to stay an extra night. Fortunately I was able to keep the same spot. All of this for two nights for what I think is a very good deal at $88.80 !

Blythe Island
This is a great Regional Campground with nice sized sites in the trees on a lake with boat rentals. They had the easiest best Wi-Fi we have ever come across in a campground. Would come back again when on 95.

Very Nice Campground
Great campground. Sites are large and spaced far enough apart they you don’t feel like you are on top of your neighbors. Nice lake and beach area. Very wooded. It’s really pretty. We were there for July 4th but we had no problem with noise or crowds. The sites even have cable, so that’s a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s So So Good And Bad
pros very wooded, imagine if you put a RV park in middle of woods, that’s what this place is, not open at all so there decent amount of privacy. Easy to back into and set up. Near st Simons, Jekyll, right off 95. Cons ground crew ppl are dicks, the sites have tree roots growing ontop of ground(Imaging having to put Landing gear down) sites are sandy and it’s stay Humid and wet here so it’s constantly getting everywhere. I’d come back if there’s nothing else.

Good Overnight Stop
Very convenient stop for us, we just stayed overnight. Fairly well spaced sites, some are much better than others. Some areas are much nicer sites than others, unfortunately we were placed in one which was OK but not as good as most.

4 Day Vacation
Very nice park. Beautiful views, level site. Nice concrete pad. Very close to the beaches at st simons. Staff was great and my kids have had a blast. This is in my top three of favorite parks I have stayed at. I will be back again. Only recommendation I have is make sure you bring good bug spray, the sand gnats are bad late in the afternoon.

Convenient
Two night stopover while heading to southern Florida. Site was ok with concrete pad, picnic tables, and full hookups. Cable reception was fair at best. Bathhouse was nice and clean. Now to the cons. The guys working the grounds were very friendly and helpful but the registration/store clerks were rude and not helpful at all. There is a wood pulp processing plant nearby and the oder was pretty strong. Gnats were bad. Not eager to return but won't cross it off either.

A great place, neat, clean, full of amenities, Wifi, cable and full hookups. "Large" pull thru spaces as well as back up spaces. Many walking/bike trails to explore and a big lake for swimming. Worth the stay for a night, week or month. Staff very friendly and the sunrises a gorgeous.
