Great Quiet Spot

Nice little campground a third of a mile from the Route 60 with 9 sites that must be reserved through recreation.gov even though the NF website listed as FCFS. Sites are $15/7.50 with pass per night, plus reservation fee. There is also a day use picnic area with 6 tables and grill. Each site has a table and a fire ring. A pair of vault toilets, no potable water and no electricity. The canoe launch is very nice and lots of people coming to fish every day. The campground has a spot where the fish hatchery stocks the Toccoa River. During the week I was a lone camper until Friday when people came to fish for the weekend, but people came daily to fish.
