The Minimalist: Total Rest Inn
Located just outside of Athens this mini themed campground has all the minimal requirements that you need. From a brisk multilevel walk through paved and unpaved campgrounds to a beautiful mini pond with a pick-nic table and a metal inlet fire pit. There are also some small cabins to rent with one of them being right out on the pond. Most sites are accommodating enough to support most class C to A RV's however at this time I do not see a place designated to primitive camping. Every site that I see has full hook ups. The two side camping sites have an access to both a laundry and shower facility however the rear during my visit did not. This, won't be an issue because the campgrounds aren't so large that just walking a few extra steps is going to seem like extra work. You could never be overwhelmed here unless you didn't like quiet, calm, and conservative. Awesome campground for honeymooners or the minimalist campers. They offer a dog park for you four legged family members too.

Called twice about a reservation, left messages both times. No one bothered to call back.

Good Spot
Nice folks, easy to deal with, fair price. There are 2 loops. One is open field with mostly big rigs parked cheek-by-jowel; the other one (where the office is) has shady, wooded, more private spots. Reasonably level gravel sites (blocks help) with 30/50 amp, H2O and sewer hookups. No problem accessing with our 25' and there were 5th wheel and pushers in there also. Nice and quiet at night.

Staying 2mo. Really nice. Clean and well kept. Feels like home. Back again, just really love this place. I'll be here for at least 2 mo. Great showers and laundry.

I stayed here for almost 4 months while on a job in Athens. This place is quiet and peaceful, staff was awesome and bath houses were always clean. Beautiful landscape in the back where I stayed. Over looking a large pond where we also did a lot of fishing. The owners of this place were very responsive to any and all of my concerns. I will not only highly recommend this place but will also be returning again. I loved this place. Wifi is not the best but that is not what I was there for. Peaceful place.

Clean, Well Kept
Friendly staff, very clean and well kept campground. Convenient to Athens. WIFI works best in the main building. Had trouble connecting at my spot. Spots are close together and you don’t get much privacy, though. And there is some road noise. But it felt safe and clean, so I’d recommend if you need to stay close to Athens.

Nice campground but the new pull thru sites are little difficult to level your rig on. Would have been nice had they made the top of the sites level and flat which would have helped the leveling problem. Other than that all was very nice.

Piece Of Paradise
Just finished 2 week stay here. New owners are incredibly nice and responsive. Roads in park resurfaced recently. Decent wifi if you're in reach of main building...slow elsewhere. Lovely view of pond from most sites. Book early during football season...place is packed when UGA plays home games.
