Listen To The Birds
Probably filled with kids during the summer but very quiet at the end of April. Site was pretty level with full hookups and pull thru for a very reasonable price. Would stay again if in the area.

Easy Spot For Overnight
Called to check availability, cost & gate code. Paid fees for water & 50a elect. and entered at 8pm-ish. Met pleasant host whom directed us to a drive-thru site for our 36' 5th wheel. Gravel roads at cg maintained with minimal pot holes. Did not check bath.

We stayed at Chehaw last week (July 2018). Nothing like what is represented online! I don’t know if they have changed management or what since the positive reviews but the place is an absolute dump now! The grass was knee high and never cut the four days we were there. I had to pull poison Ivy off the stand to connect to water and power. Bathhouse was in horrible condition with peeling paint, black mold growing in shower and bugs crawling in showers. There are several people who live there full time who have junk piled everywhere. This was, without a doubt, the worst place we have ever stayed and we are full timers. The management should be ashamed of this place.

Beautiful Park!
Older but well-maintained park, several long-term or permanent campers but still plenty of availability even on a holiday weekend. Campground is surrounded by tall pines, with some dispersed through the middle of the grounds. Camp host met us at check in and led us to our space, then moved us from our assigned back-in spot to a pull-through since we were only there for a night. Not sure what a previous reviewer is talking about; spaces are long and wide, not on top of one another. Bath house and dump station are convenient. We will definitely stay again.

Just Ok
Sites are right on top of each other, lots of campers looked like long term. Below average

Beautiful - Quiet - Spacious Campground
This is an Army Corp of Engineers campground with plenty of areas for fishing. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Make sure to reserve your weekend spot because they had only 2 full hookups left a day in advance, and a Class A pulled in right behind us! We are traveling in a motorhome with a toad. Highly recommend this campground!
