Nice...but buggy
Site 24 was a nice pull through site with full hook-ups. It was shaded and pretty quiet. The den was neat but there wasn't much to see snorkeling. Husband and son dove and said there was more to see down there. Everything got covered in catepillars. They would fall from the trees onto us there were so many of them. It was probably just our luck/time of year but they were absolutely everywhere. There were also chiggers or sand gnats. I definitely recommend bug spray.

Be Prepared To Battle The Bugs
Be prepared to battle fire ants, black ants, mosquitoes, and flies!! Overall nice place, but everything is dirt/mud (it poured during our set up). Not too much to do in the area. The Den was awesome as a diver (no wait). Overall, recommend.

Beautiful Park Area, Shaded Campground
Large site and camp office staff was very helpful. Shaded campground and although on dirt they keep the area clean. Unfortunately there are roaches, I know we're outside, not used to having them at a campground. Truly the only negative thing we've experienced. The check in and pavilion areas are beautiful!

Went for the basic tent camping area and was pleased. Quiet woodsy spot with sites fairly close together. Most have fire rings and picnic tables. Access to showers near the spring. Spring itself is a bit underwhelming but still worth getting into while you're there. Nearby Cedar Lake Woods & Gardens worth stopping by if you're into man-made gardens. Friendly staff at both places.

Bumpy Road, Quick Snorkel
So for the $20 snorkel fee you’ll maybe last 15-20 minutes in the cold water. They need lights on the cave floor because you can’t see anything really of interest other than the rocky cave bottom and a few sparse fish. The pool says “closed at 5pm” which for campers staying is really inconvenient. It should be open until 10 or 11pm for overnighters. The dirt roads in from the gate to the campsites are full of terrible potholes and ruts. You cannot go faster than idle or you’ll trash your coaches interior. The pull through sites are all dirt, and the other sites have grass, but some no sewer. Power hookups were great, WiFi was good too and so was water pressure. Charcoal grills at every site and areas for fires too. We went with two other RV couples and made it a nice weekend, but the snorkeling was not all that special.

Stay in a pull-thru; love the cave swim
Not sure where else you can snorkel in a cave like this. We loved the swim and all there was to see in the cave. Very nicely constructed swim platforms and stairs. Friendly staff. Campsites could use some updates like concrete pads. We reserved a back-in site and it turned out to be sloped a bit more than I liked in the rear. If we go again we'll make sure we pick a pull-thru site. Overall, well worth the trip and fees.

Just Beautiful!
RV sites are dirt, but with full hook-ups & wi-fi! Beautiful, quiet, and of course Devil’s Den is breathtaking! Snorkeling/diving was cold, cold, and so was the pool! But there are gorgeous grounds here to explore outside the Den even. A truly great site, and the owners were super nice & helpful!
