simply the best
we are so amazed at the new birth we have seen . so David has the most amazing staff. from the the amazing ladys that work the front office to the men and women that work in the heat and always a wave and if you need anything they are amazing. this is by far the best place to stay in south fl on the gulf.if we could give them 10 stars still wouldn't be enough. we thank you for all you guys do to make this the best rv park or as we call it a piece of paradise. Again we thank you with all our hearts

I Would Look Elsewhere!
Horrible sewer smell. Ended up having to stay in our car on the causeway the one night we were there instead of our camper to escape the gag you smell. Imagine sticking your head in the black tank! Sewer plant behind where you camp at. Woman was rude and condescending, smirking at me claiming no smell after I had to sleep in my car. Left after “staying” one night. Not fully refunded as promised. Longer review on trip adviser and their website.

Neat Campground!
This is a nice campground within a gated, well-maintained trailer park. The camping area is separate from the permanent trailer park area. This a great location for exploring Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The facilities were clean. The exotic birds were a really neat touch. The kids loved them!

Sanibel Island Is Awesome.
To many people now days want to ruin campgrounds with noisy barking dogs, we love the quiet. I have to say I and my wife look forward to this fantastic campground. Island is easy to get around and is awesome. Been coming to Sanibel for years. Keep up the Great work, love the wildlife you also have. Birds are awesome. Thanks.

Good Luck Getting In
There is no waiting list so you have to call morning and night to try and nab a cancellation. After calling and emailing continually for several months I was finally able to snag 10 days, only because we have a small van. And yet, we were still barely able to squeeze it on the tiny lot we were given. Getting on and off Sanibel is impossible because of the insane amount of traffic, and getting around on the island is just as difficult. Plan on biking everywhere, even to the beach because it’s not close. We never saw an employee the entire time we stayed. I’m glad we went though because now I know, I’d never bother with it again.

Loved it. Great location on island. Short bike ride to beach. Fun to see the birds. Laundry room was good with massive size dryers. Can't believe someone complained about there not being a pool. You're on an island surrounded by beautiful beaches with millions of shells.

No Credit Card?
In the year 2018 would you think any business would not except a major credit card only checks? When most people eliminated checks all together since Bill paying is so much easier electronically!

Great Campground On A Great Island
Been going here since I was a child 40+ years ago. The campground is an island landmark and has always been consistently well kept. The restrooms and showers have always been clean. The owners are very nice, and have always been helpful with Island information and directions. The campground is located a short bike ride from the beach, a couple minutes walking distance from half a dozen restaurants, and a short bike or car ride to dozens more. The only thing it lacks is a swimming pool. To all the pet people who complain about the no pet policy, you only have yourselves to blame. They used to allow pets, but as I have witnessed in so many parks, pet owners weren't cleaning up after their filthy animals. So between the messes and the noise problems, the owners said enough, and put in the no pet policy many years ago. I'm proud of them for keeping it. It's a nice change to have a quiet campground without the yappy dog noise and no dog bombs to have to look out for.

No Pets?
After reading the previous review I will not and cannot try this campground. No accommodation for a disabled vet? Seriously? Now looking for another campground.

Disabled Vet (Afghanistan)
I called to make reservations, with a service dog for emotional support. The RV park REFUSED to let us stay because;she stated the ADA states that the RV park CAN,but don't have to. Don't stay here if your a Veteran. This park does NOT support disabled vets. They said no and we could not stay.

A little disappointed , no pool, no WIFI, water was not drinkable , their faucet leak, their sewer hook up was in need of repair . When they parked us at our site a canal was be hind us and smelled of sewage. The only staff we saw when we checked in. Sites were level , no slabs.

We loved this park!
At first i was unsure of the campground but it grew on me quickly. It had a tiny zoo with a bunch of unique ducks and other birds. They also had some monkeys and lemurs. The 1/2mile walk to the closest beach wasn't terrible. But the beach wasn't super beautiful, if you drive to another part of the island there are much more beautiful beaches. No dogs allowed because of the animals there. I look forward to returning in the summer!
