One Of Our Favorite KOAs!

Have been here 4 times, and this time we stayed in our 40”RV vs our 16” travel Trailer. Both sites are great! There have been some maintenance and repairs due to upgrades & hurricanes affecting this area. Perry has a Walmart and Winn Dixie nearby. Also several restaurants. There are many parks and watercraft sports in the area. The Forest Festival was awesome. Staff is friendly and honor KOA rewards and discounts. Nice BIG pool and hot tub, also cabins and tent camping. Playground and laundry room. Decent campground store too!

Stayed one night, great park! Wife took a swim while I did on site laundry.

Nice Break

After hopping all over and constantly sightseeing, this was a great kickback campground. Super friendly staff. Had broken leaf spring shackle, staff made accomodations for us to stay longer to get it repaired (and hooked us up with a great welder!). FHU, 50 amp. Ask for their deluxe pull thru site (especially if you have a dog), they're HUGE and completely fenced. Our dog would have loved it!

This is the second time we have stayed here and will stay again if we get in this area. Very clean grounds and nice staff. They even brought a fire pit in case we wanted a fire.

Nice KOA In Quiet Setting

The Staff is very nice and accommodating. They pay very close attention to cleanliness. The power pole, water, cable TV and sewer connects are all brand new. We will stay here again in the future.

Such A Nice Park!

We decided to take a short trip to get used to our rv after not using it for over a year. We were fortunate to get the site at the very back of the park by the pasture. It’s very spacious, shady and quiet. We got to pet some horses on the first night here. The private swing is a nice touch, as is the patio with table and chairs, a grill and a fire pit. We had plenty of space to walk our dogs. The park is clean and easy to get in and out of. The owners are great; friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Perry KOA if you’re in the area.

Very nice KOA. Shaded grassy spot. Just right for a quiet night off the road. Drove 266 miles to get here. will do it again the net time through. Hope this gets them back on Compendium and other RV advisories!

Inflexible

We pulled in with a reservation. The spot they had assigned us was not going to work with our satillite. When we requested to move to one of the front spots were told those were only for people who might come in after hours with no reservation. They would not budge on it. So we asked for our money back and moved on down the road. They were very good about the refund.

Good place to stay we had truck problems we stay 3 night's we had paid for a week we left on our third night two days later we noticed they reimburse us the night we did not use that goes a long way with me most campgrounds don't do that so I give them 10 star's

New owners

Park needs TLC but give the new owners a chance to improve. Great for our one night stay on our way to see grandkids in Texas.

Naaaaa

Ok place I guess, smell about gagged us. Not sure if there is a factory in the area. It was bad and all night thru the air conditioner. Please understand bad. Watch driveway pulling in or out. They even have a sign leaving that you may drag leaving. You could see all the marks in the pavement as drive and road height is a bad mix. I raise my air ride to make it out as I drugged my 2017 Tiffinallegrow breeze on the way in. 38.00

The RV park was great! The pool was nice and the putt putt golf was fun. We will be sure to return next year! Hope Southern Oaks keeps its charm and friendliness!

The hosts were great! The sites are clean and spacious. Great clubhouse. We enjoyed putt putt golf. We will enjoy spa next time. They had everything laid out for us. We definitely will return.
