Lovely But Tight And Pricey

We stayed in premium site #23. It had a perfect view and easy access to the bay beach for the kids to play. We stayed during November when the rate was $100/night. The campground itself was not crowded during the week but it filled up on the weekend and the sites are CLOSE! The tiki bar was closed but we were told a lot of people not staying the RV park come to this bar when it’s open making it even more crowded. The sites are full hook up. The laundry mat and workers are nice and helpful. The pool was advertised as heat but def wasn’t. The proximity to the gulf beach, restaurants and shopping was amazing. Easy walk or bike ride. We plan to stay here again when it’s warmer but will def stay during the week to not feel over crowded.

Nice Oark But Pricy

We are from the area, and have stayed here twice. It’s across the street from the gulf with easy access. The resort is on the bay, and very close to many restaurants, bars, shops etc Well run, not spacious, but not too bad for a beach property. My only issue is the cost. During prime season, I expect to pay. But the price isn’t that much lower in off season.

Great Time!

This was our first stop on our tour of Florida, we stayed two nights. Our site was clean, as was the rest of the park. The dog walking area could use some work, as the fence was in need of repair in spots so I didn't feel comfortable letting my dog run. The showers were nice, as was the laundry facilities. The tiki bar was awesome, and the views were great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We drove down the street a bit to eat at Peg Leg Pete's, great food and atmosphere! If you want to go to the beach you can walk across the street, less than 5 min away. The beach was clean and the water was blue and beautiful! Very cool place. We will be back! There was one beach "Karen" that informed us that our dog wasn't welcome, although I didn't see any signs... So we took her back to the RV, but other than that, most people were very friendly.

Great Location!

Great location and walking distance to many restaurants, the beach, and Pensacola Tram. The spots seem really tight and the park can get noisy with people at the pool but the Tiki Bar is a great bonus! We had to move spots part way through (not their fault we booked more days after getting here). The move was confusing as we received different information from two people and then a phone call with different from the third. However, most people will not have to deal with the move but it seems many people move around. Have stayed here a few times and love it overall!

Great Location

Great location and very clean! Staff was great and accommodating. It is in a good location for walking to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. I would definitely stay again! The Tiki Bar was not open while we were there so it was not loud at all as other reviews have stated from the summer months.

Great location to be walking distance to beaches, bars, and restaurants. Like others have said, the Tiki bar has ruined the sound side waterfront for the campers. It has attracted a young rowdy , loud crowd with their boats taking over the waterfront.

Great park and location!!! Tiki Hut on the beach is nice. Everything is clean and park is well taken care of.

Nice But Going Down

If you pay for the premium sites do not expect the”private beach” experience. It’s such a nice park and great location however the Tiki Bar has ruined the beach. We have been here 3 weeks and each weekend is a fine example of drunks, drugs and mouthy local teens and 20 somethings. The local crowd floods the beach area behind the premium sites. This last weekend led to an arrest of one of the partygoers after threatening an RVer. There is no actual security other than part time bar tenders wearing a “security” shirt. I would not recommend this park to families with kids or grandkids, it is a moral deprived crowd. During the week it’s not to bad. The park is centrally located and could be a great location if the ownership decides to deal with their problems.

Excellent place , relax ,amazing

Excellent...

Once again an outstanding visit. Folks were helpful in every respect, facilities were clean and neat, sites are concrete and level along with well placed hookups so no issues there. No matter what slot you are in the beach is either 50’ away or just across the street so opting for the ‘beachfront’ isn’t a necessity. I recommend to anyone.

Not Peaceful

Stayed here in October 2018. Beware of the Tiki bar that opened in June. First, those pictures of the open sand going into the water, all that area now has tiki hits and the bar blocking your view. We paid extra to be there and did not appreciate the thumping of the speakers while we were trying to enjoy the night (or day for that matter). Did I mention that it was a bar and there is alcohol which leads to loud and rowdy people as well. If I went here again, I certainly wouldn’t pay the extra that they charge to be “beach front.”

Great location. Concrete level pads, nice private beach and dog friendly. Close to area beaches and restaurants. We will make this an annual stop.

Very Nice...

Great location next to the inland waterway and short walk across the street to the gulf beaches. Great folks, spotless facilities, solid hookups and easy to get into concrete pad sites with plenty of room. Pricey for long term but ok for a night or two. I recommend to anyone.

Nice RV sites

Clean, concrete sites, grassy field. Right in the center of town. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Don't leave your stuff to dry overnight, the overnight sprinklers will soak it.

You Can Leave Your Dinghy Vehicle Home

We rode our bikes to get around the island with many close by options for dining, shopping, beaches, and bars. Nice little Community with some beach front spots on the Santa Rosa Sound. Easy Gulf of Mexico beach access just across the street. The property is well maintained. Bathrooms are large and clean. An off leash dog run is available if you are traveling with your furry friend(s). One star was deducted for bad site management and noise. We requested water front, were told none was available, and sat and watched an empty site all week. When someone finally arrived they told us they had just reserved it the site the night before. Also, we were there Memorial Day weekend, and the music from Flounders was rocking all the way down to the RV park til the wee hours of weekend mornings. All that being said, I would still highly recommend this resort.

Newbie

Our first trip out as RV owners , and this place helped us fall in love with the adventure. Beautiful location & access to both, Pensacola beach & Santa Rosa sound.
