Sold to KOA last year. Portly managed, it is now a place for company workers to stay as there’s no hotel or motel in the area, big truck leaving and entering the camp in early hours of the morning, trash everywhere, and the trailer parking at the back is now a place to store obsolete trailers, RV’s…
The price has doubled! Rules are not observed or applied, dogs off leash, speeding on the site…
Lots of unfinished construction projects, large sink hole that has not been addressed since KOA toke over (safety hasard)
Not happy with my reservations this year and no where else to stay. Will not be here next year

This park was sold to KOA, its poorly run , if you complain about anything or ask for something the management will tell you to leave, this was a great place until the current owners purchased it,

Moore Haven KOA
This is a nice campground, but has a very corporate feel, with lots of uptight rules. The laundry facility is inadequate, with not enough machines even when they are not half broken! The guy that fixes the laundry machines lives in OHIO, so the broken machine sit broken for MONTHS; Ridiculous!

Great Stay
Great place to stay. Good accommodations. Clean. Easy access. Stayed the week for $250. Lots of daily activities. Very nice pool. Lots of friendly snowbirds. No complaints. Would stay again. Not much of local things to do in the area but you're within driving distance to the gulf coast.
