Nice But Pet Policy Strict

This is a nice park with pretty view of channel and ponds. They do have a restriction against German Shepherds and other large breed dogs. Didn’t notice until after we’d paid $61 for an overnighter. Kept to ourselves, but the small purse-sized dogs in the park were very dog-aggressive, lunging and barking. I’d avoid this one if you have a big breed.

Mike and Wendy are laid back, friendly and helpful. Perfect site for Pensacola area. Nice and small, excellent flat sites. The brown pelicans were feeding on mullet right out my back window, so, the fishing wasnt that good. (It's hard to compete with those guys). Mike will help you into your site and get you situated. Ideal overnight stop while transiting (sp?) on I-10. Really powerful water pressure, so, bring your pressure reducer. They have cable TV available at each site, bring your coax. Cellular reception was a little weak, and we had to deal with buffering a little while streaming our favorite British cop shows. Nice property.

Very nice place close to I-10 but far enough away there’s no interstate noise. Friendly staff, and unique sites along or near the water. Stayed here twice on the way through and back. We’ll definitely be back.

Overnight Stay

Staff was very friendly. Close to I-10. Facilities neat and clean. Surprised they only had two shower stalls for each section given the number of RV sites. However, it wouldn’t preclude us from staying again. As a side note, there are two entrances, east (first entrance) and west (second entrance). Please use the second entrance, which is where the office is located. If you make the mistake, as I did, it’s tough to make the left to the second entrance. Lots of traffic both ways.

Great Stop Off

Close to the interstate with great facilities and hook-ups. You can fish from most of the sites. Very well maintained and great employees. We'll be back! Oh yea, only $53 for the Saturday night we stayed there.

Very Well Maintained

Stopped here just for one night, definitely a well run park. Clean, level sites, beautiful surroundings and close to interstate but no traffic noise. Majority are full timers but they are kept up and very well maintained units. Will be out go to place when we pass through.

Fun In the sun

What a great and peaceful place to relax at. The owners make sure the campground is kept clean and friendly. If your looking for a place to get away I recommend this place over and over. They have a water canal behind the grounds for canoing that leads out to Escambia bay if that's what your pleasure is. Last but not least the seasonal community is just the best they treat you as if your a resident even if you stay a day or a month. Thanks avalon for a great trip we will see you again.

Beautiful Hideaway

Great little hideaway, beautiful spot. Luann in office was very nice and informative about the area. Yes was great helping us park. Paved roads and level, rock RV spots. Plenty of room to park your truck or toad. We have 39' 5er. Place to fish for free! Very quiet, very green and clean. Extremely limited wifi. Fun to watch the pelicans. Will definitely stay again.

Nice stop...

Here for an overnight. Access from 10 is easy and the place is very clean and quiet. Sites are large and stone/concrete with well placed and solid hookups. Folks were pleasant and helpful. I would suggest to all.

Rv Living

Milton, Florida Avalon landing with Windy and Jim they are wonderful people. Jim guides you to your site. We stopped one night on our way to a Disney and 2 month stay in Orlando area. On the water sites reasonable pricing. Very clean, great location to stay, fishing and near by food is top notch. We could’ve stayed here for a extended time and loved it.

Clean Campground

Easy hook ups with gravel pads. Very clean. Only one bathroom with a shower. Good cable and Internet. Friendly and nice view on water.

Very Nice Overnight Stop

We only stayed overnight, but it looks like a nice park to stay longer. Level site with well placed utilities that worked well. Great cable wifi soso.

Called and they just got an opening! They were so helpful with directions and plain southern hospitality! I would come back anytime. Thank you for so much help ! We had a gravel sight, better than nothing!

Just One Night Stay

Nice place, quiet. Payed & gravel ed. Nice people. WiFi was good. We had no complaints & will stay again coming back thru if they have a spot. Reasonably priced.

Made reservations two months in advance, ask for a spot close to bath house, called three weeks before arriving, was told that I had a spot two slots away from pool and bathhouse. Arrived, only to be told that we were 10 spots away. I argued that I had been told that we were supposed to be close, she said they couldn't guarantee a spot with internet reservations. I argued for what I was told, to no avail. The spot I was supposed to have, sat empty the whole time !!! It's a nice park, internet is very weak. I won't come back. ( I wanted to be close to bath house because we don't have a bathroom in our little motorhome, and there are 6 of us )

Very clean and easy to get to. The staff was very helpful with maps to wherever you wanted to go.

My husband and I stayed here for several days. The place is quite, clean and the staff is very helpful.

Nice place to stay, very friendly, easy on/off I-10. I have stayed here for the Season, and for a 2 week period. Great place, BUT WiFi is spotty at best!
