No Refunds Of Deposits
I just saw on fb a couple had emergency with a sick relative and the park refused their refund. I will never stay here.

Cute Little Park
This is a cute little park. The pool is nice and they have a big laundry room. The bathrooms were dated. They have lots of activities for mature adults but none for children. You may experience electrical outages. Half the park has older permanent rvs with narrow roads.

Do Not Stay Here!
I have never written a review of a park, but I feel I need to warn campers of this park. The sites are small, the roads terribly damaged and bad drainage. Frequent brown outs and broken water pipes. No notice given of water outages. The park is also not cleaned well. They will charge you $2 EACH package they receive for you. The packages must be delivered to the office because delivery drivers refuse to try to maneuver the bad, tight roads(or, they’re not allowed, so the park can charge). We were not informed of this until AFTER packages arrived.
Most of the long term snowbirds are leaving the park and their stories are way worst.
The owner, manager(owners daughter) are really very rude and uncaring. I’m a senior who spent years in the military and I deserved much better service and respect.
Do yourself, your family, your pocketbook and your peace of mind a favor and AVOID this park.
They don’t deserve even one star.

It's Okay
It's okay for the price.
-1 for narrow street and spaces.
-1 for pool construction still going on.

The price is right at this park-$36 for full hook up. Just don't expect too much cuz you won't find it here.

I came to Estero & was actually referred to stay at the State Park. But I have a 6mo old & I wanted a pool for my family. I saw Shady Acres had a pool and had a lake too. Not only when I booked the reservation but on our (2.5 hr) way to the park, I spoke with the park rep and said that it was all about the views for us & I wanted to make sure we were on the lake. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when I arrived to be told the pool wasn't available to use & the lake, well it was no lake.. it was a large hole w water more than half drained out of it. I was so peeved that it was never mentioned to me & those two amenities were the reason I booked us there. We didn't even unhook, we made reservations at the state park (1/2 the cost and super nice). Bottom line, reps should always disclose what isn't working onsite when they advertise differently & sadly the rep there argued me and wasn't remotely trying to be helpful/understanding.
