Leaving Early And Wont Be Back

This CG looks good on the map but is mostly full timers. We asked for a Lakeview site for 2 nites. Oh yes site 78 has that. Well they parked a 50ft. Bus in site 77 and we have NO VIEW. See pics 3 and 4. Lake view. No lake view. Really take the whole freaking view from everyone in sites 73 thru 81.which are premiere sites. Thanks for making my disabled vet husbands 2 day break to view the lake and go fishing a BUST. If you book here make sure there's not a HUGE BUS on site 77. Save your money and stay at a FL STATE PARK. Where you're treated fairly.. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Nice Place

Very quiet place. Nice people, nice site, no complaints. Boat ramp on site. Lots of shade. We would come back...

If you are looking for a beautiful quiet campground. This is it. The oak trees are covered with moss. There are a few palm trees. The part of Florida that time forgot. (A lot of homes on the way into the campground have bars at the windows.) Lake fishing. There is no swimming in the lake due to alligator habitat. We did see a couple of small alligators and a family of bald eagles. Small pool on site. Restrooms are clean. Limited cable is available (basic: local channels only, out of Tampa) Public WiFi. Laundry room has new washing machines and new dryers. Not much for children to do of any age. The most of the staff is very friendly and helpful with escort to your site. Most of the en-trencher’s (permanent site’s) are friendly. Note: not friendly towards refunds for early departure. No refund period. You will pay for what you do not stay for. No refund, no return policy here. Bored moving on.
