Beautiful

Popular as it’s surrounded by gulf and the Atlantic and close to Key West. We got lucky online due to a cancellation otherwise difficult to get in. Must plan ahead. A bus takes you both north into Key West and also south but lots of stopping so long ride. Great beaches. Part of park still closed for repairs due to Hurricane Irma so Sandspur area temporarily closed which means 24 fewer sites. Added fees costs almost $50 a night to camp but it’s relatively low for this area. Can walk out on old bridge; great sunset views and perfect spot for stargazing. Some sites are right at waters edge. Concession stand, marina, boathouse and swimming areas.
