Gators And All

Very nice, small CG around a small lake. 4-5 alligators in the lake...no swimming, watch your pets and children. Flush toilets and showers on one side of the lake (more of a pond than a lake) and pit toilets on the other side. No hookups, but they do have potable water to fill your fresh tank. Sites are long (probably 65'), level, at a good angle for easy back in, and have plenty of space between them. No dump station, but one is available just down the street at Midway. Laid back atmosphere. Some trails that go off into the bush for hiking or bike riding. Airboat rides nearby. We love this area.

Quiet, Pretty And Simple

Pretty and quiet spot and only $14 a night with America the Beautiful pass; $28 otherwise. There aren’t a lot of amenities but for self contained camping it’s hard to beat. Close to cell tower so great wi fi also. Large spots all overlook small lake which does have alligators but I didn’t see any. Can self register same day. Pleasant on site Host. Will definitely return.
