Great, Family Friendly Place!
Stayed Columbus Day Weekend. Nice playground for the kids. Sites are far enough apart, but really no trees to separate each site. Showers are nice, hot and inexpensive. Not a heck of a lot of hiking right nearby, but a lot within a 1/2 hr drive. Firewood for sale onsite is garbage - buy it from the property owner at the end of River Rd.

Wonderful Place
Will be back for certain. Friendly staff, lots of things to do at least for Labor day.

Great Riverside Campground
Beautiful, clean park on a scenic river. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We are new campers with a new travel trailer so Bill from the campground showed us to the site and directed me backing in (the site required a tight turn in between trees). Definitely recommend this place. Only thing that could have been better was if the fire pit was situated facing the river instead of into the campground.

Great
Spent a week at Hidden Acres this summer. Very friendly staff. Plenty to do for kids and adults.
Pool, pond, river for swimming / tubing. You can drop a tube in the Quinnebaug River at Jewett City and float 3 hours back to the campground! Bocce, volleyball, horseshoes.
The kids love the petting zoo and all the peacocks roaming around. Very cool.
The snack bar is awesome. Good food and great prices. The kids ate a lot of ice cream that week!
