Beautiful Campground

We have stayed here twice and loved both times, the staff are super friendly and the beautiful trees make for very shady campsites. It has the feel of camping in the National Forest but your in a campground. No most sites are not perfectly flat but your in the Rocky Mountains not on the coast or somewhere flat. We camped in our 36' toy hauler. We'll be back .

Very nice place. Lots of trees and nice cool air! They do a great job of keeping everything clean.

This was so easy to check in and out. The staff met us in the driveway with our assigned space. We had to move once and is seemed to be an upgrade when we did. I watched the staff clean and sanitize the space next to us after they left. The picnic table,the water handle and he even picked up the electrical cover and wiped down the breaker. Very impressed. Yes the sites are small and could not open our awning. Deer roamed through the camp ground all the time i saw several. And the overall location was great also. We will return.

Small Sites

The sites were small. We were in 2 different sites for our 8 day stay. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean though. The WiFi is very slow also, don't expect to stream anything but then again it's not why I camp. The campground has lots of trees for shade, deer roam through and is located in a great spot but I wouldn't stay there again unless in a pinch. Not bad but not great either. It's the small sites that bothered me.

Cute place

Pulled in for the night - Friday night, mid - May. Had a spot available. Was offered a tent site which was perfect for our truck camper....and $10 cheaper. Right next to a bathroom and shower with endless hot water. Very well maintained park! Clean and friendly. Nice campers. Deer are on site....great for pics.. $1 wash and dry (45 min). We'd definately come back...wifi is weak...that's the only negative.

Their website sounds like they have great WIFI, but when I mentioned that I work out of my rig and wanted to be as close to one of the eight towers as possible I was told "It would be better if you found another park". I was astonished that when making a reservation five months in advance they couldn't tell me that they would honor my request. I was again told to look elsewhere. That's exactly what I did, and I recommend you do too.

Nice Stay But ....

I concur with the previous reviews. Plus pretty good WiFi. Almost all of the sites are not level. Bring your leveling blocks. I used the full range of my tongue jack to raise the front and had a stack of two leveling blocks under each wheel on one side. Sites are moderately tight and dirt. People super friendly. Clean restrooms and showers. Heads up: access is from the busy highway 67 and there is no turn lane either direction. I would stay here again. 25' travel trailer.

Nice secluded grounds, trees throughout entire grounds. Sites are small and some hard to get into but the clean facilities and secluded mountain setting make up for it. We saw deer walking through the grounds on a daily basis. Nice dog park and clean up bags available in numerous places.

Very nice camp ground. Even on a holiday weekend it was very quiet. Beautiful trees surrounded the whole camp.

We were very impressed with our short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground, laundry facilities and bathrooms were in excellent condition. If we're ever in the area we'll stay here again.
