Dog 🐕 Park.
Great dog park. Highway noise. Close to I70. Nice hosts. Train horns. One night. Just fine.

Full Timer
Class A 38. Very nice KOA. Well kept. Sites are level. Some have river views. Nice play area for the kids and walking area for the dogs. Right off I70 but not much noise because part of I70 was closed due to rock slide. Nice big gas station out front. Easy in and out. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect
This is a picturesque campground in the Fall! River running along side of the property, changing colors of the Fall against a mountain backdrop was just breathtaking ! It was clean, roomy, level! A perfect site! Definitely will come back again !

River Getaway
Beautiful, quiet and very well maintained. The river sites have covered patio, table, chairs and grills with gorgeous river views. We’re definitely coming back for a longer stay.

Nice Campground
Very nice clean well kept campground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and splash pad as well. Just off the highway so easy to get to but has a little bit of road noise. Would definently stay again.

Clean friendly and well kept park. Wifi is on and off depending on time of day, cable tv fabulous unless it is very hot and then it loses connection till heat cools down. Something about wrong with wiring. Biggest problem is they never turn heat on in hot tub unless you ask and then it takes about an hour to heat up. Should’ve called a warm tub and even that is a stretch.

A Gem By The River
Been traveling through 12 states this Spring and by far this was one of the nicest places yet!
Both staff and grounds were exceptionally clean. Each campsite had its own fire pit, table and chairs. There were premium sites available by the River bank that “also” included an individual pergola, 2 Adirondack chairs and a gas BBQ. Purchased firewood and ice could be delivered to your site. The bathrooms near our site were all individual spacious bathroom/shower units. The shower also included a shower slide bar.
We heard no noise whatsoever from the I-70. The only noise heard was the relaxing river rushing by.
Would definitely return again.

Young Park
Its a really new KOA so the trees are saplings, no shade. The grass is great and the wifi is very good. No broadcast TV but the cable works fine. They have a nice large, grassy dog park and you can sit under a pergola (sp?) roofed bench. There are fire pits, so you can sit by the fire watching the river go by. Easy access from I-70 and the train is not too close to bother anyone or the freeway noise. I would stay here again fur sure. We are in site 31. The purple sites are actually closer to the river but they are the premium sites. They have a very nice covered patio and if we were staying in the heat of the summer, would definitely have one of those since that will be all the shade you will get. They do need to add more gravel to their roads as they are muddy from all the rain.

Clean But No Shade
This looks like a newer park which is both a good thing and bad since it lacks mature trees.
Looks out on the Freeway which is not loud but is there nonetheless

Clean and Friendly
Very well kept. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We prefer dry camping usually in forest service areas, but really enjoyed our time here.

Very Nice, But No Fires Allowed
Very nice campground, well kept, super clean & roomy bathrooms, spacious dog park (no equipment, just a fenced area & some benches).
We stayed 1 night & took the kids to the Glenwood Springs Adventure Park, which is a 20-minute drive to the east. This campground is named Glenwood Springs, but it's actually in Silt/New Castle, which is 16 miles from there.
Super friendly staff, Steph greeted us at the front desk and Brett escorted us to our site. Our site had a fire pit & a table & 4 chairs, but the nice ones along the water have the same, plus a gazebo for shade (these are the only shade on the entire property, all trees are saplings) a propane grill, plus 2 Adirondack chairs. If you're here more than a night, try to get one of those spots!
Disappointed to find there's a fire ban in affect, so no campfires allowed. Not their fault, of course
Staff says there's brown trout here so we bought some bait in the camp store & fished, but didn't catch anything. Great place, we'll be back

Great Park!
My wife and I stayed at this park right after 4th of July. The grounds were neat, staff super friendly and the views absolutely amazing. We will come back and stay here again!
