Great spot for people on a last minute visit. It’s only first come first serve so there were a ton of spots. It’s in a great area for moose sightings and less crowded than some of the other sites. The bathrooms were very clean and I would definitely recommend it!

Stayed here in 2016. Not much privacy but spectacular setting with elk and moose wandering through. Great memory of an elk getting some toilet paper stuck to her nose from the rangers golf cart. Watch for summer afternoons storms that blow through if tent camping as there is no more timber due to pine beetles.

This side of the park is quieter, less traffic. The campground has open sites with no privacy. It is scenic, but there's generator noise
