Wisconsin/truck Camper

On our way to Great sand dunes national park. Excellent choice, drove up into the San Isabel National forest. Checked out 1st campground 8 sites all on top of each other 2 spots open. Decided to check out St Charles. Nice sites. All occupied. Driv to La Vista. Jack pot! Several tent only sites. 3 site available by the campers. We decided on one that electric wasn't working. Got it for $14. $28 for electric. No dump station. Water available by camp host out of tank. Pit toilets. No Showers. Sites not all that level. But... nice picnic table and fire pit. Took a walk. Stairs down to lake. WOW!! So nice. Plenty of picnic areas with picnic tables and grills. Pit toilets and garbage cans. Lake is gorgeous. On our way down we encountered several deer. They ignored us as we passed only like 9 ft away from them and they just kept eating. So beautiful!! Dumpster is bear proof. So you have to figure that out. It was very full. Had a hard time fitting my small bag in.
