Too Expensive For What You Get

So this is the only place that had a one night opening for us on our drive through so they get a star for that because otherwise we would have been in a Walmart parking lot. The owner was super friendly and helpful as well and my kids loved the little flashlights they gave us. However this area is pretty run down and in a dumpy part of town, the park looks like mostly long term residents and broken down RVs. I walked my dog in the morning to see a tent set up with feet sticking out in the parking lot of the store directly behind our RV so not the parks fault but definitely sketchy! I wouldn’t choose to stay here if there were any other options. The price was far too much for what you get.

Has Improved

This place was taken over by new management after the owner passed in 2021, and the place is looking a lot better. They have done a lot to get the place cleaned up. Management is very nice and accommodating.

Out Running Errands

Tried calling here four times today for reservations today. All other campgrounds in the area were booked. Received a call back roughly one hour after our last call with one availability. We had already booked somewhere about thirty miles away. Cannot cancel. Response from manager was "Sorry, I was running errands." For for five hours? Why wasn't your phone forwarded, or a message left saying you'd be back in? Would've been nice to stay closer to Pueblo.

Fair

The Manager is very fair and helpful, she came through for us when no one else did. And yes, this place is mainly for long term, but that's ok with us, at least they have an open door when needed.

Overpriced

Old mainly full time residents with ancient trailers and cluttered yards. They charge way too much for this place. Did have a pretty large spot that was plenty of room for 40’ fiver and truck with room to spare. Good for a one nighter, but that’s it. Initially wanted to go to the fairgrounds but they had an event going on and were full.

Ok

Well everyone lives hear apparently cause I haven’t seen single person leave this place in four months cramped small place barely open ur slides but you get what u pay for I guess

Just above unacceptable. Free mini flashlight doesn't make up for thr rest.

Keep Driving

No place for pets to be walked. Very cramped and in an ugly part of town. They do give out free mini flashlights tho.
