We went to Boulder area for the exquisite and numerous bike trails. This campground is north of Boulder in Lyons, a delightful sleepy little town. Access to Boulder bike trails and copious city attractions are a short drive south. (You can bike it if you are bold and aggressive). For a state park, the campground is exceptionally clean, well groomed, and well equipped with swimming area, playgrounds, immaculate bath/shower/laundry and most sites face the roaring rapids of adjacent river: visual and auditory sensation. WIFI is adequate, ATT cell svc fine, security is obvious and copious. Sites are narrow and close together but are reasonably level. The picturesque surroundings offset the closness. We visited in a motorhome, had plenty of room, and would happily return.

Stunning Campground

Beautiful views of mountain with sound of stream in the back. Sites slightly tight, gravel, level, but enough space to put chairs out. Park around campground is lovely with very nice walking paths, great picnic areas and playground. Tube rentals to go down stream. Town center walking distance. Hosts very helpful and kind. Full hookups a plus!

Great rv park!! Well maintained, fun trails with clean restrooms, great playgrounds and water activities. Close to a super pizza place. Close to Boulder and skiing.
