Very nice campground. Well-maintained and quiet. Probably in the summer it could be beautiful and green and crowded! But for mid April it was perfect.

Quite, Open Space, Not Packed In
Spent 1 night for $29, they have electric, dump station, several water spouts to fill tank, several pull through spots that will accommodate 75 foot plus long rigs, sites are spread apart and not on top of each other… Cell coverage is not the best Verizon 1 bar and AT&T is 1-2 Bars. Picnic tables at each spot, fire pit rings at each spot so bring some wood. Trash dumpsters on site so you don’t have to pack it out.

Lots Of Shade, Lots Of Space
Nice campground just a few miles off highway 50. Lots of shade trees. Nice big sites with plenty of space between neighboring campers. There are a several large pull through sites scattered throughout the CG and one on the main drag across from the lakeside sites. We were able to make a "reservation" online after arriving and choosing an open site. Electric only at each site with community water available nearby.

Okay Stop For A Night.
Good place to stop for the night. Easy in out near highway. Paved roads level gravel sites. 20/30/50 amp at each site, our site had a covered table and fire pit. Didn’t check out any of the facilities this place was dead in December there was only one other RV in site. The lower lake was muddy and unimpressive but we did I see huge flocks of birds and some giant wild turkeys that were pretty neat!

Reservation Only State Park
We made online reservation 2 hours before arriving, (no 3 day rule), went straight to site with no interaction with park personnel. Level sites with electric. Good place to stay on way to somewhere else. No water hook up or close restroom.

Good stopping point for plains crossing. Charged full price even though showers were closed as of April 6. Didn't mention it at check in and no signs until we reached the wash room

Large Shaded Sites
The campground has very large spread out sites with great shade under tons of trees. Nice fire pit and large new picnic table

Newer Rv-er
My husband and I stay here to split up the long drive from central KS to SW Colorado. It's quiet, out of the way and spots were always level and easy to get into. Can't see spending a lot of time here but for overnight and a place to stretch your legs before resuming the trip the next day, it was fine.

At $31.00 dollars a day. For electricity only this park is way to much. It's not all that. Plus they don't care if your a disable Vet unless your vehicles are from CO. As Vets and military retires, we represented all 50 States and are territories. Which included CO. Thank you for your serves.
