Great Resort

Lots of ammenities in the park. Swimming pool, hot tubs, arcade games to name a few. Nice mountain views, quiet for a large RV park. Close to town and RMNP as well as nearby lakes on and off property. Great place for families with lots of paved roads for bicycling.

Now Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountain

This is one of the few parks we have been to that lived up to its name of being a resort. It has amenities too numerous to name. It would get 5 stars if it had even minimal wifi. Management is aware of the problem. We were able to use our mobile hotspots (Verizon). The campground is about 15 miles from Grand Lake and another couple of miles to Rocky Mountain National Park. The Mid-town Café in Granby has a nice breakfast and lunch menu. Grocery shopping is available at City Market. It is important to note that like most National Parks, RMNP now requires permits for timed entry between 9 and 2, which you should get in advance. They are not available at the gates. Be prepared for any kind of weather throughout the summer.
